keep in mind: a US judgement can not be enforced automatically like it would be in the US but it would need to be recognized by a local court and this is where you would need to send a reply if it ever comes to this , as long as this has not happened you keep quiet |

They asked you to settle for $2,000 correct? Do you know how much it would cost for them to pursue you if you're in a different country? It does not even make business sense to do that. If you stop doing whatever you were, and just ignore them everything should be fine.
So much of this stuff is bluffs, they don't want to pay more in legal fees, no chance. Especially if the settlement amount is $2,000. At the same time it's very easy for me to say sitting behind my computer when you're faced with a serious issue, I've been there so I understand. |

| Slard | 02-27-2024 12:38 AM | Re: mc999 by court decision The only thing that worries me and has caused me anxiety is that the item was bought by the law firm in Illinois and they have it in their possession, so I don't know what they will claim when it's my turn. Regarding this, I have refunded the money so I have no profit from the item, but from what I understand, in such cases, a decision is made for all those who have not responded to the lawsuit... I don't know to what extent they investigate each seller, I might be wrong. |

| Sw489 | 01-15-2025 07:38 AM | Re: mc999 by court decision I received an email from Sherinian law like the original poster where they said they are freezing my account. They want 250 for listing their item and 50,000 in damages in a recent court document they sent a few days ago. I thought this was spam, but I received a mc999 in my eBay email a few days ago. Is this case cause to worry or don’t reply and I lost my eBay account? I have no money in my payout, so if they freeze the account forever, it’s not that bad. |
