Default ebay managed payments setup recommendations

Hi everyone! I’ve read the Stealth Book and have read tons of posts on the forum but I know that things are always changing with the account process so I wanted to double check with you guys before opening a new account.

My account was suspended about 4 years ago before managed payments was established. My questions is…can I use my real personal information to open a new managed payments sellers account (my info has never been used for a managed payments account).

I plan on using my real ID and SSN, new phone with a new number, new bank account with my real info, new email, new computer, new IP address.

My real ID does have the same address that was used on my suspended account though. Will this be an issue?

Also, should I start with a personal account and then transition to a business account with an LLC or is it best to start with the business account LLC right away (use EIN instead of SSN)? I’ve read conflicting answers on this.

Any recommendations or mistakes with my plan? Appreciate the help. Thanks!

since your info has not been used on MP before, you should be ok.

Are you going to be using your real info for eb though?

Thank you for the post! I did plan on using my real info. My ID still has the same name and address that were used for my suspended account but those details were never used for a managed payments account.

Hi Mike010181.

Are you have a some new info, how it works ?

Because I have a the same = but in Europe.

I want use my real info to create new EB acc and it wasn´t use for a MP before. ( But when I started selling on ebay a long time ago, I use my real info to create Eb acc and one time I get susspended with no reason for me ).

And now I´m worry, if it will be work. I don´t know, if somebody have a stealth account with MP and continue selling on EB, but I need start ( if is possible ) with my real info.

ANYBODY HELP? Any info is great.

THANK YOU.

You are using the same SSN?
When Ebay was using Paypal,Paypal has your SSN,then later Ebay wants it too,
Did you give your SSN to ebay or just Paypal?

Hi. I never signed up for managed payments so I don't believe ebay has my SSN, unless they got it from Paypal. Any recommendations? Thanks

Initially Paypal does not ask for SSN,then it does, for 1099K.
Then Ebay wants it too,it wants it for ID,not tax filing.
