Testing account creation methods

So, the time has come that I jumped into the creation game. I will post my method as I go and keep this thread alive.

New Real Address- UPS Store PMB
New Residential IP
New Bank Account
New EIN
New Real Number (within range of the address/Tracfone)

I allowed the account to sit for 24-36 hours before applying EIN.

I chose a sole prop LLC. Applied the EIN with a real social behind it with a changed address, but a real name that matches the bank account.

I have listed two auctions. One or 7 days and one at 3 days. No red flags, yet.

My biggest wtf atm is it doesn't show your selling limits. I remember when accounts were new you'd get your limits instantly, unless I'm mistaken. Will they give me the limits after the first sale? And is this when the dreaded suspension happens?

You will get your limits after listing first item

Nice step listing - I thought limits kick in after first completed sale, if I recall correctly

It'll probably show up after your first sale.
It's usually when you list your first item to make the account a seller account.
Some times though it doesn't show it at all.

Currently, no seller information is available. I'm willing to bet it's after sale. I just hope this isn't when the dreaded suspension happens.

Update: Two completed sales. Got my seller information started, but not showing "seller hub" to see my limit. I'm just curious when I'll be able to see my limits and when the dreaded suspension may happen. So far, everything looks smooth.

Just to clarify, there is no unlimited - sometimes the limits are incredibly high ...but these days it feels rough to get - eb keeps getting odder and rougher to deal with

Officially got released to Seller Hub with a toggle. The account got 50,000, and millions. I plan to baby the account with extremely safe items for a few months.

I dabbled a little in browsing and waited around 24-36 hours. It was over a weekend and I could not get my EIN. So, the account sat, once I got the EIN, I immediately started auctions.

I bet a cool-down period came into play. A lot of people try to push through it and immediately shock the system. From what I have read, the ban seems quick and I'd lean towards people listing an item within 24 hours of creation and tripping this bot.

Typically i go on google and search "what are my ebay selling limits" & click on the ebay link while logged in and it shows me my limits. My business accounts typically get 50k monthly selling limits right off the bat.

One thing I dont recall to ever being required to enter EIN under my sole prop. They dont even require you to add bank account. You can list product right away without a bank etc. The only thing eBay will ask you to maybe enter last 4 SSN and text verify your phone number.

I would consider that to alarm eBay. I ALWAYS add all information first before driving sales.

Major tip: EIN verification will be needed in the future because of the Inform Act. You'd better have that confirmation letter ready. They will ask for it.

Sole prop is now divided. I went through it the last few days. It will ask sole prop owner of business or sole prop llc, etc.

When you say "confirmation letter" what exactly are you referring to ? As far as I am aware , SSN is more than sufficient when it comes to sole prop because you are operating business under your name so it doesn't require EIN.

Here is what google AI states:

A sole proprietorship is generally not required to have an Employer Identification Number (EIN) for federal tax purposes if it has no employees and does not file excise or pension plan tax returns. Instead, the owner can use their Social Security Number (SSN).
