Has anyone created a new sellers account in the past few days and not had problems?
 

The Christmas holiday will soon be over, so has anyone created a sellers account and not had problems getting popped for verification? If so please explain what you have done. Also, where you are located at (US, Canada, ect)
Also what you are selling, high risk, low risk, vero. Just wondering. I am looking to start a couple of accounts soon to sell slow and then build up bigger so just wondering. Here's to crossing fingers that this will blow over after the holidays, but someone on here said they wouldn't spend the time training people and developing the software to just shut it down after New Years, so that makes alot of sense. But if anyone has had luck, post here. Maybe we can figure out if this TRULY is random by any means or if this is going to happen to your account no matter what.

ID verify has always in the past been voluntary. If you did the process, eBay let you get away with a lot more, and some features bypassed the feedback requirements. I think some things they do are random, but I'm sure their is a formula to who they're picking for this. It costs them money every time they do one of these, so I'm sure they don't want to do it with everyone.

That makes sense. Yea I am wondering how it works thats why I made this post. To see if anyone has created just a regular stealth account FROM THE UNITED STATES and not had a problem selling. As I said before, if you make an account and start selling iPods immediately, I am sure they are going to pop you. But if you start slow, selling small things, maybe you can bypass it for a little while. I have come to the realization that I will NEVER get a super high feedback perfect account, they are going to limit me for some reason some time and I will be screwed, but the goal is to at least have a good account going for a few months before it gets popped and I start back over. So, if someones busy creating and selling, post on here how your doing it!

I haven't had any problems creating the accounts. However, I think you've answered your own question. No one has a problem with buying things with new accounts. But who really opens an account, and the same day lists something with no paypal account, just a credit card and phone number? zero feedback sellers ALWAYS look suspicious.

I think your messing up some where.... I made an account last week and had several hundred dollars go through it without getting this.... I think ur using same address or name.....

No I mean I haven't had the problem yet as I haven't created a new sellers account. I am going to create one here very soon but I am just going through the measures to see if we can find out what triggers it. You say you have created a successful stealth sellers account last week and sold items and not had the ID verification alert? What type of items? Have you had the 10 day hold?

I sold an mp3 player lol and no i didnt get held with the 21 day hold on my zero account I know a way around it :D....... o and make sure your phone number is always working that also triggers it... had it happen to me lol

I created 2 accounts in the past few days with no issues but trying different methods when setting up the accounts, I listed a few things on both.

I opened new accounts 1 week ago and no ver so far.. so I think they stop it. The reason maybe that they have found it to be pointless and scared away new ebaa costumers and sellers..

I created a new account a few days ago and listed a few auctions. I had to verify my phone number to list and then again when I signed up for Auctiva, but other than that, it was pretty easy with no problems.

Was your Paypal account verified? Had you confirmed it and everything? Taken all the stealth steps? Or did you just create it real quick and launch it for sale. How long was the account open for?

nah it wasnt verified i had a fresh bank account attached though lol.... and I had the account up for like 10 minutes ahahhahahaahh i guess iphones are a target so ima trade for something with same value it will be a lot easier.....

Sounds good, keep us posted on how its working for you. How much feedback you have, how many items you've sold. Is it a full stealth account, is the address ⊗⊗⊗⊗?

Ya I know my B i can help people if they need it :) anyways I made a stealth account 2 days ago have 3 mp3s listed and haven't got hit with the id thing so its probably if you sell an high risk item really fast like I did or if your contact information isn't up to date

i have made numerous accounts over the last few weeks and this whole sudden thing has thrown me all of course. i have never had this problem ever, i have always flown under the radar with my accounts and never had an issue posting up high end auctions with little or no feedback. ultimately the accounts would usually be suspended but ive always been one of the select few who flew under the radar for what ever reason i do not know and have always been able to post my auction up and have it stay up long enough to recieve payment and withdraw before the ebay account was suspended. having acess to different connections and outlets definently helps but still this new thing has been nuts with the constant verification. i dont understand why its doing this how long its going to go on? or when its going to end? if ever. lets hope it does. this problem is what has brought me to this forum. this forum is truely amazing however, their is an absolute wealth of information in all these different threads i have just been reading non stop. thank you to the people who put that information out there and to the director of this forum it has been truely helpful. if their are any other people having success selling with new accounts please share, and share how you are doing it cause i certainly am not. as far as my higher end items go. its usually pretty standard for them to suspend accounts that post a high end item right away, however like i said i was usually able to get it up and sell it in about a 5 day window frame. by the time theyd suspend me they were to late. now their wasting no time and suspending by the time im on day 2 or 3 and those extra couple of days are just messing me up from selling and generating revenue. the accounts and everything else is easy. its this new verfication crap thats a nightmare.

So were officially at New Years, anyone created an account say from the 25th through now that has been up and running selling over the past week? Good feedback? No ID verification?

i have created quite a few accounts and had no problems been selling ipods laptops etc on new accounts with no verification problems dont know what u guys are talkin about

100% stealth? Real or ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address? Real name or is everything just made up? How long have the accounts been active and how much feedback do you have? I am putting together some info for everyone so please post what you have.

Also, are you having to deal with the 21 day hold?

It's first time I'm posting ( Found this forum today, it saved my life as for now, lol )

Anyone who could answer my question or help me through this case? I'm totally lost and confused as well.. I'm newbie in eBay but got spanked quickly..

I registered an account - After awhile I listed an item(s) (Burberry scarves)
I used one of my photos and for another listing I used Burberry pictures (Copyright, which I didn't know what illegal to use, how silly of me)
Then eBay removed my items - Reason I was breaking their trademark rules or policies.
I was restricted for 7 days. In the mean time I contacted eBay live help, and I've been told why I got restricted, and I've been told how I can relist again..
After 7 days I'm now aloud to relist.. and I had to take a test/survey? And then I started to relist again... 3-4 items, but 1-2 hrs within each item..
Now, this time I used my own photos.. but got SUSPENDED? and the reason was.. " Abusing Ebay "?
I think it's funny, and I don't know what's the truth behind doors yet..
It's like throwing a bomb on my house - and I immediately contacted eBay costumer service , and they sent me an e-mail, in fact, 4 e-mails alike! with the exactly answer..
I didn't expect that, I was disappointed and starting to get mad with eBay..
Then eBay calls my bf while he's at work.. They want him to confirm - Bad timing - so my bf is calling eBay the next day by Phone .. After confirming , a staff said the account is no longer Suspended.. my Bf tries to log in, but it doesn't work.. then he calls again, and meet another staff, and this time it's still Suspended, and they're asking for my bf's address..
He gave them the exactly information + the address linked in eBay, but as my bf just moved from Las vegas to another state because of his privacy which I think is none of eBays business to know. The new address is now on papers, and the old in eBay data base. So he couldn't do anything.
Staff even said straight forward that it's not possible to move so suddenly (Didn't believe my bf) then he got upset with eBay costumer support. When is it not legal to move to another state? Should there be any DATE AND TIME for that? This is also Privacy, eBay doesn't have to know what's happening in our lives!

Anyone who can tell me, what to do now? And how can I do further in the future with eBay?
I want to sell for the first time on eBay, but it has started out dramatic..

Right now I'm just exhausted and annoyed with eBay.. I don't know what to do, or not to do..

Last question : about Vero

is Burberry a high risk? Should I contact Burberry factory?
Awhile ago I taked with a staff eBay Live help and told me as long as I have my own pictures, own description.. start slow, and build up.. then I'd be Okay?

But I've been reading topics on the forum and there's still risk and a lot of trouble? How difficult and complicated is this! Oh dear..

Please start a new post with this. This wasnt the original point behind the OP and you should get more responses posting a new one.

I want to know what the OP is asking too, because I don't want to end up wasting a account just to get this new suspension.

Looking for people who have created accounts in the past week and they are up and selling stealth. Let us know if you are using ⊗⊗⊗⊗ or real addresses as well, that seems to be a big possible factor right now.

Question - when do you get hit with this verification? when you create the seller account or when you actually list an item for sale?

Wow, I don't know what you guys are doing wrong, but I'm selling across 80+ eBay accounts and have created about a dozen new ones in the past week, without any problems at all.

I believe it was a holiday issue, This week no problems with purchased accounts.

From what I have heard it was when new items were listed. It has nothing to do with creating an account. Just don't create an account tonight and immiediately list an iphone for sale.

Are they 100% stealth? Are they real or ⊗⊗⊗⊗ addresses? Also what have you listed and do you have any feedback?

anyways I have made a stealth account on the 29th of dec. listed a gang of broken ipods and new ones made hundreds of dollars and its been fine. going to make $600 this week...... not bad for a 18 year old

So they were fully stealth accounts? With bogus addresses?

ya bogus everything lol.......... everything is fine unless you dont update ur info and phone number or sell something very high risk...
