Well it's taken up to almost a day for me sometimes. Either that or they're trying to verify your phone # or something..

Yes they will do it every now and then, but generally it's just once within the first month or so. I had one (pretty active) account for two years, and they only called me twice in that whole time.

Chris, there are 2 or 3 certain numbers the calls will come from if it's from eBay.. I used to know them but I don't have that information on hand at the moment.

Hi- Heres the NUmbers Youre looking for:
A.) The Initial Call will come from "Ebay Inc", tel: 801-545-1800,
then they immediately cancel all your listings, and suspend you
B.) The next time you log into ebay- it will ask you to CONFIRM your tel. number- it will ask you--CALL NOW, or if you are on that line-call me in 5 minutes..
C.) When you hit call- the call comes in- the operator/recording- says "IF you are EXPECTING" this call- please hit the # (POUND) sign,,,, when you do- she says thank you- here is your 4 digit pin...
D.) Then you enter that pin on the ebay screen, then it says--thank you- LEts start Selling..

How is that possible? Ebay will simply cancel your listings. This isn't like the old days where ppl would just sell anything on there.

Just started an auction selling a "sketchy" item I suppose and after 2 hours still no show. I revised the listing to something different without any luck. It'll probably show up in a few more hours. I started two other auctions which I guess ebay deems as legit and they show up almost immediately. I hate when stuff like this happens. It makes me paranoid. If I had like 4 dozen accounts like some of you guys I probably wouldn't be so worried but I only have 2 spare accounts and neither is a month old. I really got to spend some time creating backup accts.
