Just try many different variations of signing up, something is bound to stick. Here are a few tips:

1) Make sure your false address and phone is real and located in the same state as what ever IP you use. Just go to the phone book and pick at a person in the next town and use their name and phone number.
2) If you have been using the same VCC or gift cards, switch to different brand. Using the same VCC with the same starting prefix like 4021, will get your account a close look.
3) If you have been NARUed, it doesn't matter if the item you sell is VERO or not, they are looking for the same item and title description. If you lay off that item for a week or so it will not raise as many flags when you do list.
4) Wait 30 days before doing anything, buy 5-10 small items like trading card, not e-book, during the 30 days so you can list Buy-it-Now when ready.
5) Make small one time payment of $2 towards selling fees right after you list.
6) If you want to use your real CC info or someones you know to sign up you can. Then you can start selling, just be sure to switch it over to VCC before they bill you. They do not charge your original card, as they no longer have authorization and will continue to try to charge the VCC.

Of course there is also the basic steps of changing IP, clearing cookies etc.
No matter what you do not all will stick, but the most important thing you can do is let accounts age, build feedback slowly.
If you notice, you can sign up for accounts and buy with no problems. You can even sign up as seller account right away. Unless your are using a already banned IP address to sign up. it is usually only when you try to SELL any item that your account gets suspended because goes through the trust & safety checklist. Raise to many flags and you get their attention ffor live person review or automatic "bot" suspension.

ebayhateluv....I currently use Advance America visa gift cards. I am so glad that you brought this up because every single account that I have used these with has been knocked off for abusing ebay.
I'm getting ready to set up another one today though. I will let you know the outcome.

Question about setting up accts with info from other states. I know that the IP from my ISP gives a geographical location, but the AOL browser does not. I'm assuming that would be a wiser choice...ie IP address should match the area where the information that you give them is

The first 4 digit are the bank/company identifier. Signing up for a new account will generally only get you a new number not 4 digit prefix. IE: they will start with the same 4 digits as your old numbers.

I think the Yahoo and Live Mail accounts linked you. When you checked the email, Yahoo and Live Mail load the images which can get your IPs. Use @gmail.com instead, never had a problem.

Maybe you got lucky and ended up with someone else's banned ip addresses on ebay.

I believe Modee is correct, but isn't it better to be extra cautious anyway.

Who knows what is causing this...i think if you sign up and bid and add some things to the watch list it lowers the odds you will get suspended. I had one go down after revising a listing, this account was 20 days old.

Were all 3 items you listed the same and carried the same price? If all things were the same across all 3 accounts, then that and the listing categories were the only variables.
We have established, the any new registered account that tries to sell right away raises a flag, add to that the use of a free anonymous email address, add to that registering with a VCC, add to that the listing categories you used are high risk and you almost certainly were brought to T&S monkey attention. The first two monkeys deemed you to risky and the 3rd was to busy looking at porn and let you slip through.
Also, if you used the same VCC number the third one will get hit eventually.

I honestly think that eBay randomly suspends new seller accounts that list within the first 30 days. I usually place some bids and let the account age 30 days before using.

If I'm in a hurry and don't want to wait for the account to age, I'll start off by bidding on a few items that I don't think I will win...ie.placing low bids on items newly listed. Then after at least a week I'll try listing an item..if I have patience, I'll just list a household item to start such as my kids "too small" clothes.

Just FYI i opened an account and bought 4-5 fb on and was fine for a month. they did track it though bc when i eventually got kicked off, i received emails for every one of those 1 penny auctions saying that the auctions were over. so the 1 penny auctions are tracked, but buying fb is okay as long as you dont go overboard.

ever thought that one of these 3000 t+s employees is maybe tracking everything you write here in this forum ? and then suspends accounts who have the characteristics of what you describe ?!
just a thought, not that i don't value your information, its usually very usefull.
but t+s could probably make a profile of you by what you're writing here, e.g. new ebay user selling franklin daytime planners shouldn't be too difficult to identify...
good luck anyway!

You list everything on auctiva right? You probably ended up with a previously banned auctiva ip. Not to mention I don't know of any first time users who use a third party like that to list their first items on ebay.
