MC010 Notice about Limited-Verify-Identity Suspension Pending. Need Help
 

I got a dreaded MC010 notice on my month old stealth account. I have read up a bit on this situation. Can anyone tell me wether it is even worth calling ebay? I used all stealth info and am petrified to call. I figure I am busted. Please advise.

You can call but you would need to have registered the stealth account on with your real name and address...they'll ask for a state id and a bank/utility/or credit card statement with the name/address registered on the ebay account.

In my opinion, its definitely worth it.

Everytime I get the email to verify my identity, I always have to send in documents even though I call. Luckily, you can do wonders with Adobe Photoshop! :D

Why not try and salvage the account? What is the worse that can happen?? Right now you can't use the account.

Hmm... Its a gamble.

i have noticed that the stealth accounts with normal, common names passed easily and didnt need to have any information submitted.

However, the ones that were more unique had to have the id + utility.

One ebay rep said it was because they couldn't pull enough info from their "public search" to verify me so thats why they need the documents.

In other words.. go ahead and call. What's the worst they can say - that they need documents? Then go from there whether its worth the time to do that. Otherwise it could have been a simple call to relieve the account, and you could be up and running again.
