Hmmmm, if they don't have your real information...then nevermind them, just make sure u cover your tracks with shipping..because if it goes to a lawsuit or something the only waaay they can track you is if ......YOU GOT IT!!....your customer snitches. See if the popular brand contacts ebay for information on you ebay is just going to give them the info they have. such as your i.p address which only shows your approximate location and the info u have on your account. But ebay also has your customers information who you sold the item too, and im sure there info is right. All they have to do is call the customer and ask them to fax the tracking number you gave them. The turn around call the carrier who delivered the item to your customer, and ask for the address from which it came. Then you have a problem, But not really you can always say what I always say when I have a run in with the law...I DON'T KNOW WHAT U TALKING ABOUT! with a good confused look...ask the NUMBER 1 QUESTION "DO U HAVE A WARRANT" if not...hit them with the Number 1 closing statement "Have a good day" HEY! its works for me...98% of the time.

yes definitly stop selling the item for sure.. donot relist atleast from the account u got this letter.. otherwise u will lost that account .. 2ndly first make sure if that letter is genuine how can u do that? well there are alot of ways to do that.. u can trace from where it came from check email headers.. trace that ip address.. it might give a clue it might not.. check vero members about me page who verod u.. there might be similar email address there.. let say u r somewat convinced it is from genuine source then u might reply from going to library that u have stopped selling which they can obviously see.. i hope u dont have any feedbacks regarding that item if thats correct u can say u didnt had any sales yet.. and thats it fullstop

And yeah the orders are already being processed and shipped out so I really cant stop that but I'm going to tell them that I stopped selling and will not do it again. I have 10 days to answer the email.

open the email in gmail.. besides reply on top u will see a drop down arrow.. click on and menu will drop down.. select show original.. make sure all pop up blockers are closed otherwise u will have to relogin to gmail to check it..

yea i sort of agree with this... but as ur home address might be wrong ?? is there something written in the email delivered by post and email??? and what have they asked for i mean how do they want u to respond? written statement or email ?

They said I can respond bu email or mail. The letter was delivered by email with a PDF attachment with my ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info on it......

If you search this thread it will tell you what they asked for me.

I mean it dint sound really serious just a default canned letter but you know Im still going to take it seriously..

there did come a point in my early years that i was in BIG legal trouble. after getting nowhere but more paranoid (weed had nothing to do with my paranoia this time i swear!!) trying to figure it all out myself, i finally broke down and got a paid for lawyer. 3 days later i was back up and running with impunity. anybody that even tried to question what i was doing were reffered straight to my lawyer and got his "F.You we'll counter sue" letter. the guy totally earned his money.

if you are worried that much (i was ready to move out of state and change my name) talk to a lawyer. it is worth the money in the long run. if it's at the worst possible stage he'll be like "dude, change your name and move out of state" at least you'll know for sure!


my situation was a little bit different from yours. i was being investigated. when you're being investigated you most likely WILL KNOW IT. everyone you know will be calling you saying "hey man, there were these people here asking questions about you"

I wouldn't sweat it...real cease and desist letters come by certified mail.

Well they said they sent it via mail too but since I used ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info I will never receive it.
