Question, I'm suspended indefinitely and would like to know if you use a school's wifi and ip address but use the same paypal will ebay still suspend it? Because if they do i would think anybody who signs in to ebay on that computer would be restricted also.

It's best not to use a Public Wifi, Free Wifi, such as Libraries, Starbucks, and so forth. As far as someone else getting suspended it's possible....but it's best not to play with the odds.

thats the thing, my school requires a password to connect to the wifi. so will i be good by doing that?

No school, get yourself a Mifi (hotspot), will make your life easier.

Campus wifi tracks you as soon as you login. . Just so you know. So why log in with that when you are trying to fly under the radar. Defeats the purpose.

Hi All,
I'm a Newbee and I sell items on ebay successfully. Everything was working good until my credit card on file expired. I tried to put a new credit card on file but any time I try to put a credit card on file I see: "Invalid postal/ZIP code - Sorry, you must enter a valid postal/ZIP code" even I called ebay customer support and they try to see if it was related to my postal code even trying to put this postal code in any different way as possible but nothing solved this issue, I almost spend one hour on the phone, so I called again and they told me I had to call paypal, but here is the thing: I was receiving payments with two different paypal accounts but both belong to me, so I don't know if it is a good idea to set up paypal as an automatic payment method, in fact I did it but my paypal payment method was removed because I didn't pay fees on time, so any advice?

Hey guys they haven't officially sent us a letter .
They just took down all our postings. Just listed n sold 75 items 7days. They have all just delivered. We have negative feedback from a competing seller and they just keep asking me if my account is tied to my sons account which is negative feedback and we're not sure to pay those fees on his and they'd reinstate or it won't matter and they just gonna ban us indefinitely? Any thoughts?3 negs 2 neutrals. 98.4 feedback 386 sold since dec 15. All info not stealth it's under real names socials etc. we made mistake using same pictures logging in same ips etc.. pulling money out fast. Any idea??s thank

The 1000 listing account, been verified and PayPal . As well as license and name and banking already.. been restricted when we try to list...

How do you appeal for your account? I called in, and the CS said the "internal department" who do these case do not talk to anyone. No phone call, no emails. How do you contact them? Who you ask to be transfer to? Thanks

I must have defied this- I was suspended indefinitely as of today. I called and talked to someone and somehow they overrode it.

You are lucky a family member in my house was banned before I was even allowed an eBay account and a few years later when I turned 18 I made one and was banned the next month because of being Linked to another account & even after telling them I only just joined I was told NOPE its permanent.

Does anyone think eBay wants us all stealth for some reason? Feels that way :bounce:

Great information here. I'm making another ebay account with a friend name and address. I have a new fresh dedicated ip address, new email, new user account on pc, cleaned cookies, for paypal using friends name & address, a new ein #, new bank acct #, a vanilla visa in my name but friend's address. I wanted to see if this sounds like a winning gameplan?

There is usually a reason for suspension - to discuss and learn, you need to provide more info on your setup and operations. Otherwise, best of luck as you get back on.

I have not heard that one before. The Phillipines eBay team tells me that indefinite = until the sun stops shining
