Default .co.uk account suspensions

Hi, first off, thanks aspkin. I`ve been following your guides for obvious reasons and I think this is going to be a very popular forum.

Reason for this post is I am in the uk, are there any forum members with .co.uk suspension tips or advice?

I am just worried there are different rules for the states and here, e.g giving false bank information.

I am desparate to get back on, my first suspension, been a member for 4 years 900 feedback powerseller & 100%. They suspended me for no less than a year so the way I look at it I might as well be banned for life anyway so got nothing to lose.

So far I have,
1. acquired new ip, done this by turning off 834gt router overnight
2. wiped and reinstalled operating system.
3. now using IE7 over firefox just cause of the rumours they don`t like users using firefox over cookie issues.. IE7 is just as easy to clear everything
4. I know never to open a html version of suspended emails, I think I could view them in non html in outlook but not going to risk it.
5. removed all my email addresses from paypal and added 2 new ones one with my isp and one gmail, am not going to use my primary for payments.

It has been a while since I joined ebay so I am not too up to date with what info they need, but I am a bit wary that I can`t give ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address details.

Any advice on what I would need to do next would be great thanks.

Stu

Hi irishstu, welcome to the forums! I hope the forums become popular too; just I hope I'm not the only one giving advice.

As for you, there are different rules between US eBay and UK eBay. Though I have never set up a UK eBay account, I'm sure it isn't that bad. I know of other UK users that were able to sign up ok. If that doesn’t work, try to set up a US account. Go to the US eBay account.

The main concern is verification. If you're able to be verified by a credit card, you should be okay. Try to opt out of eBay calling you.

Following my guide as close as you can, you should be okay.

I noticed you said you reinstalled your operating system? Wow! That's hardcore. EBay shouldn't be able to find anything on your system then. The next step for you is just do get started! Take the time and sign up again. Once that is done, move forward.

Good luck,

just to update my situation.. I haven`t tried to get back on yet, but as you can see from my 1st post I did remove my primary email and the rest from paypal, then added 2 new ones.

Does anyone know if this is a red flag as I have just found out they have suspended me from paypal? 10 days after getting cut from ebay.
It was ok a few days ago, they have locked my money until a year or something good job it is only £18.

EBay may think you are an unauthorized 3rd party to the Paypal account. I did this once with my business Paypal account and Paypal immediately froze my account and asked me to call them. Since then I haven't had any problems.

You may try to call them and let them know you were the one adding the new emails. Just say you got a new email address and wanted your Paypal emails to go there. They shouldn't know anything about eBay so don't mention eBay.

You need to start from scratch, buy the stealth guide and take it from there.

Yes that's the way forward, buy the stealth guide and read it until you completely understand it and how new stealth accounts are set up, also browse around this forum for up to date tips, there are even readymade ebay/PayPal accounts for sale on here, you can get up and going again with more accounts than you had before stronger than ever and if an account should go down it is not that bad because you have others on the go that will almost seamlessly let you move on with your business
