Received MC999 but no suspension

I have been selling a digital delivered goods items and eBay finally caught on, sent me a 'MC999 Listing policy violation alert: Digitally Delivered Goods.'

I still want to sell the item since I get it for a really low price and can sell out within a day.

This is on my original US account from 2002 and there is no wait period to get paid so I like that aspect.

I have no suspension and can still sell whatever I want, but I'm pretty sure I'll get banned if I post the same item again.

My question is, if you were in my position, what would you do or what are my options since I don't have suspension? Is there a way to still sell my hottest digital item?

You risk burning your legit account if you persist in relisting them.

One option is to open stealth accounts and spread your sales. You will be subject to 21 day holds on paypal for a while, but theres no quick fix for a guy in your situation.

I would NOT sell this item again on this account - you can sell OTHER things. You were lucky to not be suspended.

Are you talking about building stealth accounts? Im new to all this any guidance in this situation would be a massive help. I definitely still want to sell digital items since it is very easy to turn a profit. But is there a safer way to do it without being flagged or taken down?

Are there any guides to selling digital items?

If I was in your situation, I would look into selling them on eBay Classifieds.

I'm not sure if they still it allow it there or not? But at least it points you in a direction to look.

Looking at some listings there, I see several sellers offering them.

Is there any way the item could be put onto a CD or DVD and actually be shipped? Or is this just a code or something?

I just think if it were me, I would be looking for a way to make it an actual sent item.

It is a code but I can be put on a disc as an install ISO dvd.

But would this enable me to post it as an actual auction or buy it now item?

Also, should I use my 2002 account or create a stealth account for this?

Similar to what jeff suggested when I sell digital items I would sent a post card with my return info and a thank you letter and send it first class mail for just over $1 so I could get a tracking number for ebay and never had a problem

I came to the conclusion that this was my problem. eBay saw that I had not sent anything and and just stopped my listing since nothing was sent and concluded on their end that it was a digital goods item.

How soon can I post a new listing stating that I will send a DVD plus the code to activate the product? Should I wait a week or can I post now as long as I state in the listing that a physical product will be sent and not emailed?

You need to use the paper clip game nit sell digital items on disk because that is still a digital item. I know it makes no sense but I have danced that song with ebay that is why i created simplesecuritycheck.com because i was getting g screwed so bad on my btc sales
