Dsr suspension
 

Hi all
Short and sweet, 3000 + feedback , 100% , suspeneded due to low dsr`s p&p !
My paypal is fine.
My girlfriend has her own ebay acc / paypal acc , same address as me, can i use them or what would i need to change in order to use them ?
Also when i had a live chat with ebay just after i was susspended the person who i was talking to said "you cannot sell anymore using "THIS" account" should i read between the lines ?
Also do ebay look at suspension on different levels , i.e - someone suspended for shill bidding is worse than someone suspended for low dsr`s ?

Can you paste a copy of the notice you received. Normally they don't leave too much uncertain , and don't imply it's ok to use other accounts.

Just enquiring whats happened to my account as it has been restricted indefinatly ?? it say s it because of my performance but i have turned my dsr`s around and in the last 45 transactions i`ve had near perfect dsr`s which is something you asked my to do ??

Thank you for waiting. I've reviewed your account and can confirm that we've indefinitely removed your ability to sell. The reason for this is that you aren't meeting the minimum performance standards needed to sell on eBay.

I can see from our records that we had previously coached you about the low levels of buyer satisfaction on your account last 23rd of December 2010 and stated that we needed to see a big improvement. Since then your account has failed to meet the requirements of our Seller Performance standards, so we had to take action.

ok , so will i never be able to sell on this account again ?......also i`ve only just began to sell again scince december and as you can see from my account in the last 2 months i have drascticlly improved ?

The restriction means that you're no longer able to sell on eBay with this account, however you may continue to buy items, leave Feedback, access emails in My Messages and do most other administrative tasks.

Welcome to the forums. Before you use her account - stop. Same address right? Same IP or computer? They are LINKED. Don't mix your biz with her account - unless you value that.

If I were you - I would read around the forums +/- get the stealth guide and go fresh and NEW in your account creations.

Ive been doing a bit of research on different forums and have noted that when ebay restricts an account indefinately there are different levels in the wording of the restriction, for instance ,
Someone selling f$%k goods recieves an email saying "You are no longer permited to selling on ebay , this includes using any other account or registering a new account",
Where as in my case i was suspended for low dsr`s and recieved an email saying,
"You are no longer permited to sell on ebay using "THIS" account",
Now maybe i`m clutching at straws but i read into that i could use another account ?
I do have another account that is 4 yrs old and if i were to risk selling on it my defence if i were to be susspended on this one as well would be that they didn`t say i could not use another account ?

TBH< you need to take the plunge. Phone them back, get the name of the agent and ask this question of them.

I'm leaning towards yes you can. BUT at the same time I'm not going to say absolutely.

At the moment, we're amassing info on these suspensions to see what, if any, is the workaround :spy:

I have also checked another reply which i received from ebay via email after i asked for reasons for the suspension,
In it the CS agent also used the wording "No longer permited to sell using this account" so i`ve had two different agents using the same emphasis on the wording "This account" .
I think i may just go for it and list a couple of items and see what happens ?
Also, say for instance they were to suspend the other account would it impact on my paypal account as it`s fully verified and in good standing ?

It will impact on that paypal. It means the paypal should not be used with ebay again. It's become tainted because of suspended ebay accounts.

You need to be careful about how you proceed. Really careful.

Right now is NOT a time to rush into doing anything. Otherwise it's back to square one :pop2:

Understood !, but i`m desparate to get back selling on ebay , i sell vinyl records and have a lot of stock that i need to shift , it`s money just sitting there, i have been using another site to sell but it`s very slow and just does not have the exposure as ebay , the dsr B/S on ebay is a joke ! i`d been selling on there since 2003 and with over 3000 + feedback and 100% and i`ve been stitched up by a few buyer`s who basiclly wanted the item they bought delivered yesterday !!

Um, you are telling the already converted, baggie.

Not a one of us here that has not been dealt a cruel kick from ebay/paypal.

TBF, you are vulnerable right now. That's when you will make errors. Take a deep breath. Think carefully, go carefully.

Seriously I had the same advice when I started. I make a point of passing that onwards. :pop2:

Exactly as GB stated - get stealth method up x few accounts and go at it.
