I gave up on my appeal to Ebay and the VERO member being sucessfull and opened a new ebay account on a second computer that had been reformatted. I opened a new Paypal account but on the old computer with the linked ebay cookies.
But then a miracle happened: I was reinstated! So I logged into my formerly suspended account to pay the sellers fees via a one time paypal payment. To my surprise the paypal page and sign in address that came up in the link was for the new paypal account. The question is (for the future) how were the cookies working? Were they Paypal or Ebay cookies? If they were paypal cookies then the ebay account may not have been compromised. But if Ebay links to your paypal sign in address then the Ebay cookies must work together with Paypal at least initially to link them together for signing in. Does anyone have an explanation? It doesnt surprise me that cookies would link me to the new Paypal address but not via an old account that had never used this new paypal address. This info might indicate to someone cleverer than myself how the system works.
OK so I'm back on Ebay legit but I cant spam without getting banned for life. Problem is spamming is the only way to take real money on Ebay

Actually, I think maybe by clicking the make a one time paypal payment link all ebay is doing is giving you the paypal website link and the paypal cookies for the last account you visited direct you to sign into that account and that might be all there is to it.
