I violated "feedback manipulation" policy. Don't want to get suspended

people go to eBay Feedback Exchange and post your item numbers .
Feedbacks for every one.
go here
http://www.aspkin.com/forums/ebay-feedback-exchange/
Make it look like you got your self feedbacks for expensive items and your sale will jump.

Hi Guys,

Having read posts that sellers are getting suspended for purchasing $0.01 products, but if you had just a normal buyers account and built feedbacks using this method wouldn't that work? Once you have 10+ feedbacks just upgrade to a sellers account?

Or are measures in place to prevent ANY new accounts from making quick feedbacks?

Cheers,

aspkin 08-30-2007 02:20 PM

It's not a good idea to buy cheap items for feedback. You can buy and sell $5+ items, but if you buy too many in one day, or sale too many in one day, it could be a red flag. Time and time again people have been suspended for 'abusing eBay' in this way.

JackNoMore 08-30-2007 02:21 PM

The only difference between a buyer and seller is the card you put on file. So yes you can do that, and many of us have, but if you go too fast it's a red flag.

DogFacedBoy 08-30-2007 03:49 PM

How about buy a $5 item/day and sell $5/day?

In a week you'd have 14 if everybody left FB?

Hopefully you buy stuff you can use like for shipping, etc and sell stuff to moke a little money.

With any luck the cost would be a wash

anotherebayhater 08-31-2007 06:26 PM

sooo I have been building FB and my question is this after 90 days the info on what you bought nolonger appears on ebays fb area. and after like a year the item numbers dissappear... so if someone was building fb for accts they were letting mature or age then if you waited to make it a seller acct for eather 90 days or longer after your LAST ⊗⊗⊗⊗ FB buy and bought a couple things befor making it a seller acct then ....... you can have ⊗⊗⊗⊗ FB but you have to wait longer to make it a seller acct if you want to start selling with a crap load of fb RIGHT?

I think if you sign up, but not to sell, buy a lot of cheapo stuff and then wait, like you said 90 days you might not raise any flags, but with so many sellers requiring X number of FB even if you are not selling with your acct, there is a motivation to manufacture FBs which might get your acct a closer look than others

just my $.02

anotherebayhater 08-31-2007 06:35 PM

well you could build slowly like 5 or 10 pennys a day for a week then let is sit. for the 90 or more then a couple real items then selllers acct. im gonna try it with a few and see what happens.

Sounds like a good idea which I will probably do a few accounts down the line. Right now I am only worrying about keeping one up and healthy.

leonid5000 09-01-2007 01:47 AM

buying $0.01 products is not a problem you just have to know how to do it

anotherebayhater 09-01-2007 08:37 AM

would you like to share with the class or maybe PM me leonid???? :)

Chris Hanson 09-01-2007 11:16 AM

Right Modee, I keep telling you guys it isnt "1" thing that gets you suspended its a combination of things.

So yeah, 1 person might can buy 5 or 6 penny auctions, but the next person may not be able to do that. Maybe the next person has a IP in a High Risk area etc......

So just remember it's a combination of things that you do that Ebay doesn't like that will get you the boot off Ebay

leonid5000 09-02-2007 05:13 AM

Makes me wonder if you are doing so well on ebay, why are you trolling here at $75 for help? Kind of like the Real Estate gurus that are billionaires from the RE business, but apparently can't make a go of it so they start selling all of their precious secrets.

There is a section for selling accounts, why don't you keep your solicitations and offers there. If you have nothing to OFFER here, I'm sure I speak for a lot of people in saying I'm getting sick of your non-input.

Pretty soon, you'll be like the kid who has the new treehouse but won't let any of the other kids play in it with him just to make them jealous and finds out when they all go back to school that he no longer has any friends left.

Just my $.02 worth...

...guess that leaves me $74.98 short :D

leonid5000 09-02-2007 05:26 PM

solicitations section? ooo thats cool i didnt see it..

I violated "feedback manipulation" policy. Don't want to get suspended

Has anyone bought feedback for a recipe or wallpaper, etc. knowing full well the person selling is doing this to exchange feedback? I left positive feedback for the guy and he files a Non paying bidder alert against me because he wants his penny! Sometimes I'll get ppl who don't reciprocate feedback for whatever reason but this is the first time this has ever happened. This guy isn't the brightest bulb. If I wanted to be an ******* I could just report him to ebay and get his account flagged. Just plain dumb.

Fancy 09-23-2007 10:33 PM

Pay him the penny?

Did you pay him his penny? I agree with you, it is silly for him to report you, but nonetheless, to be legal, pay him his penny! Actually, your circumstance is a good argument against ebay's assumption that penny auctions are "feedback farms." If you don't pay, you can still get negative feedback, if they don't deliver, they can get negative feedback! We could use your case in court against ebay!!!!

Ballsack 09-23-2007 10:49 PM

No because it serves no purpose. If I pay him his penny he'll get charged 50 cents for the transaction. Why would any of these idiots want payment from people anyway is beyond me. If you sell 100 of these auctions that's 50 dollars paypal just collected from you for NOTHING!

JackNoMore 09-24-2007 01:24 PM

No but I did buy something once (not a penny) and then the guy filed a mutual agreement not to sell. Ebay saw that for some reason and feedback was removed. I actually wanted the item even. Needless to say, I never accepted his agreement. Thought about leaving negative but it couldn't be done at that point.
