Default suspension after registration

Hi,

New to this forum, but couldn't find any info so I decided to try to post.

Believe it or not, until 2 weeks ago I never had an ebay account. I'm not into selling, and never needed to buy anything.

2 Weeks ago I needed something, so I signed up. Obviously, entered all my real details.

1 day later, I got an email that my account is blocked/suspended, without any reason. Emailed them, but didn't get any answer for 2 weeks.

Today I called them, after giving my name, the operator told me she can't reveal the problem, but I cannot appeal and I will never-ever be allowed to use ebay, that I'm a threat to ebay community and she suggested I'll find another website to use. When I ask for more info, she just repeated the same lines.. there is nothing I can do to appeal it.

I must say I was shocked.. Not only have I entered all my real valid info, I also got a valid paypal account for years with no issues and they should be aware of it.

I survived without ebay before and I'll be ok, but I'm dying to know how can I be a threat to the ebay community.
Is there any way that I can get that mysterious info of why they think I'm such a problem?

Thoughts?

Are you a expat or local?

Your info may have been used without your knowledge.

Regardless check with your bank etc, that everythng is secure.

It's common place in parts of Asia for these things to happen

I am sorry you had such an experience.

I'm indeed an expat, my name clearly shows that I'm not local, beside, I have no problem sending my passport and other details, but they didn't give any chance to do that.

Last time I'm opening an account on a website from Thailand...

Pretty much the norm for ebay Thailand.

Inflexible & intolerant.

I hope you do as I suggested & check everything is in order

The credit card you used to signup for the account, what bank was it issued by? I may be able to tell you what's wrong and how you can get it fixed.

It's thai bank, Kasikorn virtual card. Same card I use in paypal without an issue. I also registered to ebay with the same email I use in paypal.

Well in your case I would go stealth. Unfortunately whatever the reason for suspention was, you are banned for life, like the vast majority of us on here.
Buy the book (s) read them, re-read them, -read them AGAIN!!! Then start buying whatever you need. And since you dont' really wanna sell, you should be fine.

The stealth guide is always the answer! But it looks like it has to be something with the bank
