Default mc169 question.

What actually triggers this.My account was a stealth account. So info and address is new. Could it be the merchandise. Even though it is listed as used. This is all I can think of. account taken down in 12 hrs with 9 items listed all used not new and all original no vero or foo foo and low price not hi ticket items

You listed way too many item for first timer. Most people sell one item to try it out and move on from there. It was way too obvious it was not first time.

Did you create some search cookies? Go through Help? Seller/buyer tips? Add some things to watch list? Bid on few items (lowball)... Sign in and out few days apart?

These are just some of the things a newbie would do. There are some people that say its not necessary, however I have never lost an account this way so it works for me

Newjerseymax is right, you have to make yourself look like your totally new so browsing, searching, adding items to watch lost, going through the website as if you have no clue is a good way to seem like new seller/buyer. gotta create some cookies, browsing history otherwise they think your a scammer going straight to selling.

The item I use for feedback is none vero so I usually list 2-3 first, wait for those to sell then I keep listing 2-3 till I hit 10 sales. It could of been your items that got ya.

You need to change the ad title, descriptions and pics if they have every been used on a previous account. Usually, the killbots find a link and limit the account. You also need to make sure you are not reusing any old info for registering.

Not wishing to upset any apple carts here but it all depends how the accounts are set up from the get go.

If you set up personal accounts don't act like a business

If you set up a business account do it properly

I set up a business account for someone and he listed 50 items in the first 14 days without a problem.

Think laterally and how a business would act

More info really would help.

What's the actual set-up of your account including paypal.

What amount of money is involved?

Are you a risk in the eyes of ebay?
