New to Forum Due to MC115!
Just waned to drop in and introduce myself & say I'm enjoying all that I'm learning from reading the threads here. Due to unemployment and having a literal house full of valuables I *could* sell if eBay would let me, I started looking for ways around the draconian seller limits. Ten items/month? Really?
Anyway, I have one very old legit account with over 1000 fb and one a couple years old with 300. Only the first one is a seller account as of a couple months ago. I was trying to lay groundwork on a third (buyer) account that is about six months old, and had built up nearly 50 buyer feedbacks in a week or so, only to wake up one day last week to a nice MC115 suspension.
Sadly, I'd logged into the other good accounts from the same IP and paid for items using the same PayPal account (NOT linked to newest account, but is to the other two). I quickly changed my IP and have abandoned the #3 account altogether, but am now living in fear of the other shoe dropping and them eventually linking & suspending my two real & good accounts.
Guess I'll just wait until it happens, then try to make a case the third account activity was done by a neighbor's kid hacking into my unsecured WLAN, but any serious investigation will shoot that right down. At this point, I think just totally abandoning the #3 account, letting sleeping dogs lie, and playing by all the rules on the first two accounts is my only chance. If they eventually catch up to the link and suspend the others, first thing is I'll cry first for losing my original account from late 90s, then I'll either be off eBay for good (legitimately) or have to go all stealth all the time from now on I guess.
Anyway, glad to be here among people who know all about it. Was referred by an acquaintance but do not know her ID here. She said this is the BEST advice she's ever gotten on the topics at hand here.
