Just a few here and there...lol. I have a 6 pairs, 4's, 20's, 23's, 18's, 11's & 2's. When I was a lot younger I'd spend my entire paycheck on these kicks.

OMB 06-22-2008 07:43 AM

Really? because when I was in middle school I used to wonder how some kids would always have new J's. Now that I'm older I buy Jordans on the regular. I think it has alot to do with the child in me wanting to be that kid with the fresh kicks. psychology i tell ya...

John14789 06-22-2008 05:46 PM

When I was a kid my parents would buy me the new jordans but once i wore them for a year i would throw it away but i really shouldnt have because those jordans are worth something now. i have the 22 and thats about it with jordans. i do really want to get the 4,5,7. you guys know of any website selling authentic j's?

i really want to get a louis vuitton double fold wallet. it cost about $300 in saks. you guys have one?

Well, I would say even less than $10 in materials but who's counting at $150 retail.

It galls me beyond belief that some of these companies are so up in arms, running around like the proverbial chicken with its head chopped off, about "counterfeits" getting past the guards of the kingdom while at the same time employing 8 year old children working 16-18 hours a day at 7 cents per hour forced to live in the company housing, pay rent to the company for their housing and buy their daily food from the company store at inflated prices.

Ah...yes...if you are not aware of what is happening then it's perfectly ok. Yes, that's the spirit.

Say thank-you to all the workers in Vietnam that made that 75 quid shoe possible. Yea, on the lower left that's the bathroom/shower. A hole in the ground serving 70 people in the dorm you squat over to do your business.

All so some punter in London can shell out 75-100 quid for a pair of shoes that cost 3 quid or less to make advertised by an grossly overpaid has been sports star.

BTW, guess what the yearly amount paid to that grossly overpaid sports star is and then guess what the amount of money paid to all the workers in all the 700+ factories combined is.

For example Louis Vuitton, I've examined some of the stuff my girlfriend has. It is certainly absurdly expensive (although she has this Burberry runway purse that cost more than any single LV purse of hers), but the quality control is amazing. Every stitch, perfect. No flaws, no issues, at least on the purses and wallets I have seen. Then you look at the ⊗⊗⊗⊗, of which there are plenty. Just junk compared to the real Louis.

i used to work in a leather tannery and we made the leather for Louis Vuitton.
was a pain in the ass as it had to be perfect and no fingerprints either.
was hard to work with it.

411guru 06-22-2008 11:32 PM

LV is done know. I mean you buy LV because its expensive and no one has it and you want to show off. Now every one who drives a 1988 Chevy Nova has one. It devalues the brand significantly. Who wants one when any ghetto mama has one?

Yeah they are made in sweatshops but are made with more better material. What the chinese do when they make ⊗⊗⊗⊗ shoes is thry get the original mold of the shoe and put crappy material to then make the shoe.

awww...

The ruthlessness of american business industry. Well, we cant be walking around barefoot can we??

411guru 06-24-2008 01:50 AM

This is a way to maximize profit for Nike. If they can get away with it, I say more power to them.

to bad i found out they were ⊗⊗⊗⊗ to late to file dispite =(

well were you wearing them everyday. 8 months is usually the normal lifespan of a shoe

411guru 07-02-2008 12:39 PM

I have a pair of new balance that I wear everyday, and its 3 years old.

memphis 07-02-2008 01:31 PM

Well it depends on what your doing when you wear the shoe. If you play basketball twice a week in them they will get more worn in 8 mons than if your wearing them in front of the computer and to the post office for 3 years.

jerkyboy1 07-03-2008 05:17 PM

lol thats true. its all about how they are used and how much wear and tear you put them through. I have shoes that are 4 years old and like new because I wear them casually and always keep them clean. On the other hand, my brother goes through a pair of expensive brand name shoes every 8 weeks because he just doesn't care and doesn't take of his belongings.

vero - i have now edited listing ut have questions

Got vero take down on item, e-bay said it was requested by rights owner, so they have their eye on me now (even though lots of other people are still going) . edited down so no name on picture and script doesnt say named its a named brand but says its exactly like the named brand. (is that ok!) although it has the same look packaging etc in picture. It means far fewer people will see it due to title and it risks not getting business but id rather keep my account. Will vero buy one and proscecute or can my account, as when it is recieved wll have brand written all over it. What happens when you get a question about item asking if its that brand or not- i have not replied so far but it could be vero tricking me - how do you play it.
