Besides, it seems you missed the point of my earlier post. I never claimed full anonymity or that it wasn't possible to trace my IP (of course it is, although you apparantly didn't trace it correctly). It was that rapunzel_01 claimed to know who I am, so much so that he had his sister somehow check up on me and knows where I work and what position. He is, of course, blatantly false too, but who cares right? Hate on the eBay guy!
your not a GUY doof....dont try to avoid it either keep going with your lies my friend.......no wait keep going with the lies I want to keep laughing at this bad comedy....:D

Hmmm....well IP is easy to get--you just have to know how.

So with the apparent fraud from Canada, and being as laws are more lax there regarding this...would this be a good or a bad location to base an ebay business? Does it seem like users from this location are given more latitude now, or less because ebay has become aware of the fraud? Not saying I'd be selling fraudulent goods. Just wondering if a person is more likely to get away with murder if they are? This question is for the whole group.

I'm not even sure what to say to all this 'Canadian fraud' stuff. I'm sure Canada has it's fair share of scammers, as does every single other country in the world, but to imply that Canada has 'lax laws' and is rampant with fraud is just...ignorant. I'd bet a year's salary that the US has far more fraudsters, on and off eBay, than Canada does.

But I suppose it's just the American way...everyone but you guys are bad

Mythical is right. That feedback number only applied to the little guys. Don't believe me? Check out Bargainland. They are the 2nd largest seller on ebay and they are far below that mythical 95% feedback. And Ebay dare not do a thing about it since 2nd largest also means 2nd largest paying account.

As for your other account which was suspended, IF you hadn't listed anything new on the account after your other one was suspended, then email in and very clearly explain that. Don't write a long rambling email, just clearly explain that the listings on your other account were already up when you were suspended, and you were in no way using the account after the suspension.

Hopefully, if you get a half competent appeals rep, they'll double check on it and not apply a 12 month period. Of course if you did list something new after your original suspension you're screwed.
I have tried many times to explain to Ebay and to reason with them and not chance. I had not listed anything new!!! Now they have suspended my partner's account saying that he is linked with my account and have suspended my original account indefinetely now! What a buch of a**holes!
