mc999 for an fda e-cig warning....
 

just listed an e-cig item and it got mc999 for the fda warning but it was just the battery ,,,, and there are others that have had listings up for a while .
how does ebay allow them to sell the same thing. and i get mc999

you get MC999 for many reasons not only the item, you are doing something wrong and you need to find out what exactly is missing

They have either 1) mastered how to list a takedown item (so try and experiment and learn from them) or 2) they have not been caught yet.

Because that's the ebay game.

Those sellers may have older accounts. They may know what to do better than you.
Fact of selling on ebay.

From now make sure your own account can avoid getting strikes.

Even consider listing different items.

Stop risking the account.

I agree with GB.

Selling a brand new highly competitive item on a new or newer account can have its issues.

Seems like the US government do not approve of e-fags, lost tax revenue.

thx guys and i just didn't expect to get it taken down (its not branded so i thought it was ok ) but i did list on a fairly new account with no strikes against me so thats good

Dont assume that it is only BRANDED items that get taken down on eB. Anything can be taken down due to category flagging or competitor pushing. That's the way of the marketplace.
