MC999 - Your eBay account is restricted

Hi all I am a new member and got suspended about 6 months ago from selling on ebay as I was I believe selling the same or similar brand name items continuously which got me banned. please remind me what an mc999 is I think it is when you have sold a good amount and they restrict you until you call them and they ask for documents and proff of a supplier passport etc... ???

Not at all seany - MC999 can happen from just turning an account into a seller's account.

Suggest you search forums for MC999 or google it up - TONS of info about it.

This is strange. When I called on two accounts, and i got the MC999 on 3 out of 4 new accounts WITHOUT attempting to sell anything, I was asked three multiple choice questions from my "public record" (none of the information on the ebay/paypal were mine or real - so I thought). Q's were last address associated with, car associated with, does the name XXX XXX mean anything to you etc. On the first call I got lucky and she said this is srange and reinstated. On the other two calls I was simply told they can;t verify and will need some documents from me.

I use information not in a database... eg.. non Id thievery like some do. And so far of the 2 accounts, both were sent to vetting to get id's....
