One ebay account suspended, how to protect others?
 

One of my ebay accounts was suspended. After that, I still used another acount to list. This listing account has around 1500 fb with 99.4%. I guess it has same name but different registered address with the suspended one. Another problem is these 2 account shares same paypal account. One and a half days passed, there is no action to this listing account.

From what I read here, I guess this listing account will be suspended very soon. Is there anything I can do to prevent it? Or I am doomed?

Sooner or later your other account will go down as well.

If I were you I would stop using that account, letting it cool off for a bit and start working on new accounts. Then come back to it once you know what you're doing.

I wanted to take advantage of $.25 listing promotion that ended yesterday, so I listed about 80 listing after suspension of other account. Currently I have about 200 listing open.

Now I feel like ebay is pointing at my head with a loaded gun. I am just waiting they to pull the triger.

By the way, I went shooting last weekend. I can get almost all 10 at a distence of 30 feet, with a handgun.

Ugh. I was just going to suggest that you hurry up and clean out any funds in that PP acct before they freeze it for the 180 days....sorry dude, that's a Monday for ya'

I have several 4 years old accounts with 0 or 1 feedback. All with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info, registered in a far away state. Will that help me to go back on ebay?

Just make sure not to use same ip. FYI I have 1 killed account and 1 active account. I'm sure they are linked, same paypal, same computer IP. However, my other account is not suspended. And I don't know why. But I've put off using it much but did buy a camera and sell a couple of things. Strange.

guru, it is only time before they suspend it. I used an account like that for a month before they shut it down and I sold probably 10 items a day at least.

I tend to agree with you. However, its been 5 months! Perhaps because its a powerseller or maybe I changed my name to a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one when the other account got suspended. Who knows.

But I still can't use the same paypal account, even after changing email address, right?

Never use a Paypal account that was used on a suspended eBay account, forget about it and make a completely new one with all ⊗⊗⊗⊗ information. In some way or another your new eBay account will go down if you use that Paypal account.

Then somehow they missed me. I still use my paypal account for ioffer, the same one. I used it for both my ebay accounts, killed and active.......for 5 months now with no problem. I constantly have $1000+ in there. I dunno why I'm not killed yet.

I changed IP, used a old account to buy a item, used seller's merchant checkout, then this account was suspended because linked to suspension account.

This account has absolutely nothing related to the suspension account. All fack info and it even does not have paypal.

How did ebay find out? This scares me most!

You may not have cleared cookies,flash cookies for a start. How about the merchant account? Was that new? I would not make any more accounts or use 'old' accounts until you understand fully what to do.

I would advise you to NOT touch those accounts until you know what you are doing. They might be suspending you because your IP does not match with your registered address.

You might want to try creating a separate Windows User account for each eBay account. That way, you won't have to worry about clearing Flash cookies.

I bought the ebook, and I read through at least twice. But before I try to create new account, I want to test the old one.

I cleared cookies and flash cookies. The merchant account is from the seller, and I paid directly by a credit card.

The email from ebay said this account is linked with a suspended account. So I guess it is NOT becuase the log in IP is far away registered address.

I still can't figure out how they found out.
