Two accounts but only one suspended?
 

Hey guys. Im new here...guess why? I believe I will be posting A LOT more in these forums though now...Unfortunately..

So my situation is this. Suspended from ebay, not reinstated after appeal. Ive had the account since 1999. I ALSO have another account since 04 that I never used but was setup and registered. Never linked to a paypal account or setup for sales. I figured it would have been suspended, but it has not been.

So. Can this account be used as a sellers account? The address is linked before I moved and so use the user name..it is close to the user name that got banned. So I believe that would work against me. BUT..I am wondering why that account wasnt banned with the first account in the ebay checks and balances system..?

Would it be unwise to try it out? Or might I have success?

I have had the same situation. 2 suspended accounts, only one has been reinstated. Then I started to sell from the reinstated one...and everything seemed ok, until ebay saw me and they said that since at least one of my accounts IS still suspended I'm not supposed to use ebay at all.
Guess what? They shut all of my accounts down. Now I have only a few open.

So I dont think its a good idea for you to start selling unless all of your accounts has been reinstated. BE careful though: ebay lost my reinstatement documents I have sent, so when sending stuff to them, write in big letters, make a copy and keep it for your records, and ship everything with Signature on Delivery.
