Suspended after 8 years
 

Ebay after 8 yrs will not let me sell because I sold to many of one product.

They want product sale receipt .

I am a power seller with feedback 99.5

As a powerseller you should know ebay is strict with sellers.

Your business plan should have allowed for invoices and receipts.

Supply if possible.

Consider making stealth accounts for the future.

question is why do you NOT have invoices for stuff you sell. You pay cash you ask for invoice, you pay card you get receipt. You buy from legit sources you automatically get a invoice

Get receipts for all your business parts.

Always good to begin transitioning to multiple eB accounts to spread sales.

sorry to hear after 8 years and still getting the boot from ebay its a real battle field on there it would be best to open a few other accounts to help you keep things rolling best of luck to you...:s

do you have any evidence you possess the goods that you sell ? any receipts ?? invoices ?

if a high end item and selling lots they must ensure they are legit and not stolen as well

hope you have the evidence

Would never let an account go like this so easily. Had a buddy who had a similar thing happen. Got on the phone with the Seller venting department sent them his business license and everything, seller permit for the state, etc. Took him about 10 hours on the phone and a week. But was able to recover the account.

Call them and let them know you have invoices, fax in the invoices along with business license and sellers permit and you are good to go.

This is the individual I was talking about. Would listen carefully. Many years of experience dealing with stealth and eBay/PayPal all together.

I cant even count how many times I have been on the phone with eBay, and sometimes it takes 2 or 3 times of calling to find the right rep to be able to help you. You just stay persistent, stick to your story (whatever it may be), and dont let up an inch.

With all the calls I've made, i've been quite sucessful. Demand that you would like to fax in information to plead your case, demand that you talk to someone in the Trust and Safety department or Seller Venting department (those are the only ones that can do anything about anything).

On Thurs afternoon 2/27 fax in the invoices along with business license call ebay on Friday gave me a some BS that a safety dept handles this and it take up tp 24-36 hrs waited till tues called again the same BS now the rep tell me it take 24 to 48hrs on the phone for 1H:10m still waiting this ebay plays games 2600 positive feedback 0 Neg 192,252.00 in business and this is the way ebay handles it's powerseller feel bad for the reg eBayers this sucks

They aren't going to call back OR make a decision in the 24-36 hours. My experience has ALWAYS been like that. They tell you 24-48 hours, then the 48 hour comes along and nothing happens.

My advice, KEEP CALLING. Be like, I was told 48 hours and here we are again. SOMEONE over the phone will be able to lift the restriction on your account. My phone calls have all be instant removals of the restriction. Demand you talk to the rep who is reviewing the docs, demand that you talk to trust and safety again and again. Persistence is key.

After 7days and 5 calls on the phone for a total 312mins later. Got a ebay to remove the some of the restrictions can sell anything but software at all for one year with all the docs in sent to than still 1 years so to all persistence is the KEY!!!!

I wish I would have had this advise & insight when I was going through similar ebay nonsense, I appreciate stealth advise!

Congrats to you Worlda, glad we can be of some help instead of a lot of members just suggesting to buy the stealth. Its a great reference, but it is not the "be all, end all" resolution.

And no problem guys, glad I can offer my expertise on the subject. Ive been able to get 4 or 5 restrictions removed to date. It takes some time, and some arguing back and forth, but just because one rep tells you that your account is "indefinitely" restricted, it just means you move on to the next rep.

Thanks Vogeltron. I realize you've known me for over 10 years and know what the hell Im talking about. Seems as though I got some "proving" to do to some who are weary of my advice. Brownie points?

Of course it is. I learned this about eBay/PayPal years ago. If you have problem you need to talk to upper management.

If you order a burger from McDonalds and the screw it up bitching at the person at the counter isn't going to help. You need to talk to the Manager, if that don't work the Franchise owner, corporate, etc.

Remember any employee. Has limitations to what they can do. I remember back in 08 I knew someone who creating stealth's like crazy selling stuff. He would have his PayPal limited. Had a number for a PayPal Executive within about an hour the account was reinstated.

Unfortunately. In life it isn't always what you know but it is about who you know and who you can sweet talk. Build relationships with etc. Life is not as cut and dry as some people/media try to make it. And in cases like this demanding to talk to the person who issued the suspension etc. You want to talk to someone who can actually make something happen.
