New Mc999 fax documents srm appeals
 

I have an account I just recently had my selling limits dropped to 0/0 with an mc999
Called in, rep couldn't find my info so asked to provide documentation. Its been 10 days since I sent the documents and still have yet to receive anything from ebay.

My question is: is this normal? Should I keep hounding them on the phone until I find out what's going on? Does anyone have any experience with this?

The last rep I talked to said it should have been resolved a few days ago and limits would increase.

This is the new mc999. Its easier just to figure out what went wrong (sometimes its random) and make a new account.

Time frame is not unusual. Unless that rep put that statement in writing it may be simply words to get you off the phone line....

Would I hound them? I would make a humble pie sounding phone call and make that my closure. Either way you have taken action.

Like Speeder33 said, look over the account. See what the cause may have been.

Good move to call through for follow-up - be professional and explain that documents were sent and you would like the account reinstated

It already has a bank account attached so hopefully it can be saved. It may be that it happened due to it be unverified paypal when I upgraded to a seller account but I have also had it happen to two accounts which were verified.

From what I have gather from the rep I talked to at first its just random and has to do with the fact ebay cant pull an identity verification which triggers it. I will try calling in today and see what they say. I just need to make sure to get an American rep since the overseas ones have no idea what's going on.

I dont mind submitting documents if accounts get reinstated but its a lot of work if theyre just going to ban.

Just wanted to update everyone. Called in again after it being 3 weeks, found a foreign rep who finally unlocked the account and gave it a bump in selling limits with the typical mc999 questions. If you persist you can generally find someone to help you out with your account.
