Hi All
We received a 7 day selling restriction, only to be replaced by an indefinite selling restriction a few days later.
Our account is on Ebay.co.uk
I went straight round to a friends to set up a new user account. I didn't read any of the stuff on here !!
So, after reading here, Am I to presume that the new account will get suspended ? As I didn't change the ip address nor remove the cookies ??
I used to log on there to answer mails from the suspended account.
I've had the new paypal account verified to my friends bank account. Will that too be no good to use ?
Hope to hear from you guys, what we will need to do....

1. We don't use Friends, Family, Pets information to open accounts. If you want to know why, use the search function.

2. You used the same IP, you linked the new account to your old account, the new account can or may be limited sooner or later.

3. You should get the eBay Stealth Ebook to get the basic information.

Thanks MM78, I understand what your saying about using a friends account...
Am at the friends now !! Was going to buy the Ebay Stealth Book, but can't pay via paypal... Will do when I get home & have my card ready....
Ok... i thought as much about using the already linked ip address.... What a dummy I am...

Does anyone know how long it will take to get the Ebay sellers account to be able to list 200 item x 24 variations ??
I'm now looking at buying a stealth account... Any thing I need to know ??

I would say a few months at least depending how lucky you are and how threatening you look to ebay/paypal.

You want to sell 200 item each with 24 variations?

Its going to take many months to get limits that allow you to sell at that level.

We have learnt our lesson about Vero. We have lots of other products that & didn't break any violations, so we will just list those.

Do you mind if I run a few things by you all?
When the account got suspended, I went round to my sons mum's ( Yes, We are still friends !!) I set up another ebay & paypal account in her name.
Only later did i find this site !!

Yes, the person I was going to buy the ready made stealth account is on here. But now we are thinking of doing it ourselves as it says in the book its better to use friends & family.

So.... After reading the Stealth Book. This is what we were thinking.

1) Delete cookies, turbo lister, etc, etc
2) Change IP address
3) Use my sons mums name to create Ebay & paypal account. Changing here first name (her surname is Smith) & her business address that is different from anything that has been connected to ebay or paypal.
4) New mobile pay as you go phone number
5) new email address
6) Use my sons bank account that's not been used on ebay or paypal.
7) Verify debit card with paypal. (It says in the Stealth Book to use a prepaid credit card , is this necessary)?? Do we actually need a credit card ?? I seem to remember when setting up the original account, that i just used a debit card. I could be mistaken though....
Would much appreciate any input to see if we are on the right lines....

That part of the book is now outdated...I believe others will agree with me, do NOT use any friends or relatives info.......no reason to involve them......start new, fresh with no other people involved...good luck to you!

Just no. Do not drag other people into this.

Use a VCC. A real plastic card will not work.

Really.... You want to drag your son into this? Use your own bank account

You need to spend a few days reading the forum in a lot more depth

My son works with me is part of the business, but we haven't used his details before so would this not be better than creating ⊗⊗⊗⊗ account ?

It could work. But remember this, more than likely you have him on a student/minor account.

If they start to see flows of money coming in from a different name, than they can just close the account too.

Plus you will want to use a bank that will allow mismatched names. So that account may not even be at a bank like so (i.e BoA/Chase/PNC).

Edit: Oops, I see your in the UK. That may be a little different with banks, my bad.

No, do not drag anyonelse in this business. Your new account could be banned as well and then your son name will be blacklisted as your.
Create a completely stealth account to a made up name.
It will work and will not hurt someonelse.

Best to use stealth info as you do not want to ruin his credentials should he wish to use ebays service in the future. Or even worse his credit could be ruined.
