CR with EB account suspended
 

EB account got suspended for a year. Got about $180 credit with Ebay due to overpaid fees. How do I get it back? There's no number popping up for customer service. Only thing I can do is respond to the suspended message.

Linked PP is fine. Is it ok to get a new IP and new EB with the same name but new address and use the same PP account?

No, No , No.....that paypal account is linked to your ebay account FOREVER...it's toasted to use with any ebay account now....it'll probably go down soon anyway...but even if it doesn't...you can't ever use it for ebay again.

Can anyone help me with getting my money back from eBay? I can't even find tr ebay AU number to call.

I'm not sure about AU, but isn't there a "contact" link then you can chat with a rep?

And perhaps since you can't use the PP anymore anyways, if you paid with PP how about calling them and explain the situation and see if they may have a contact info they can give you? This of course will risk your PP to be limited, but I think as last resort...

Would have been better to stick the phone number request with this thread.

Dont be holding your breath with ebay AU to get that credit back easily.

Nope, no contact phone number or web chat. It's not popping up at all. I've logged into another stealth account to retrieve the number.


Wasn't getting any replies regarding the phone number in the general suspension section so I thought I'd try my luck in the AU Ebay section as I am after an AU number.

Got in touch with them and they said accounts been suspended however they've put through a request for a refund. Should be ok.

I've chased credit in the past and EB stated they can't do it. Phoned in months later and an operator stated there's a credit on the account and they'll process a refund to the linked CC. Due to experience it is possible. Depends on who's onto the other side I guess.

I have to agree that a refund is possible. It happened to me not too long ago and I actually did it via an automated system when I called in. The owed seller fees were refunded to my paypal in about a week.
