Yet another person kicked off!!!
 

Hi All

Same sold story, 11 years on E bay, 1500+ sales, all good sales, had a few slow shipping issues and got suddenly kicked off. This happened 18 months ago.

Wanted to run the plan by folks here as I need to do this once and be done.

We are an established business, 17 years.

1. Need to keep our current paypal active as we use it daily for non eBay related payments.

2. Comcast will come in and install new line for both cable and phone. We will have a fully independent, new IP address.

3. We assign one computer to ONLY that line and only use it for new E bay paypal; nothing else.

4. We open a new LLC only to cover e bay sales. Register that LLC in new unit we rented post E bay booting us. No record of that address being rented to us as we combined two spaces. No issue on mail delivery there.

5. Open a new business bank account with CC to use for paypal. Use new physical address for that bank account

6. Get EIN

7. Open e bay and paypal merchant account using EIN and LLC

8. Go slow to build feedback, be careful and get back to making mone


What am I missing?

Biggest thing is the E Bay "only" computer can never get on the main network for any reason......what else?

Sounds pretty good....you didn't say...but I assume you have a new name for stealth. Make the name same sex as whomever is going to deal with ebay/paypal should you ever have to...Good luck.

One account won't do it. what if you get busted again?
What about selling limits? Most of my accounts nowadays only have 10/500 limits. You can't make much money on something like that.

Do you happen to know how long it takes to ebay to increase those stupid limits? Before being restricted from selling, I was able to list 6000 items and a lot of USD dollars. I know now that all my accounts will start with 10/500... crap:smash:

There are many random factors......but you can usually get to 100/5k within 90 days or so.

I know I won't be able to make any money until after the 90 days limit. I am working to build my account within the 3 months. Selling cheap items, free and quick shipping. It is harder than what I thought because I have to keep re-listing my items up to 5 times to get a sale. I sell mainly stationeries but it seems like customers don't really buy these this time of the year. Even though most of my auction starts at $.99 with free shipping.

New account is up and running.

I set up for paypal business with a new account and also got an Amex registered to my home address that was never a part of the banned account.

Paypal immediately got me on verification. I had to enter my SSN and got so frustrated I just did so. I then had to call in and provide copies of my DL and answer the questions about where I lived. All passed and I was fully verified.

E bay was 10/1000 to start. I listed a few items and sold a few the first day. I called to ask about raising my selling limit. I answered the questions and was raised to 100/5000 immediately and told I could ask for another limit increase in 30 days.

My old account had my SSN as ID but EIN for tax reasons. My new account has the same set up with new EIN.

Not really sure how this worked to be honest. Apparently the SSN did not flag for either Ebay or paypal and my guess is the EIN helped avoid that.

Bottom line I am fully back on in good standing with both Ebay and paypal fully verified by both. I guess this is the non stealth method :)

Good luck on selling again. I hear most people on here start with a personal business account and then when it reaches 20k in sales you then upgrade to a business paypal. I also have my SSN on a non-banned paypal account but my ebay seller account is banned. I hope they don't connect your SSN with your ebay account that can't sell. Would paypal even know you can no longer sell on ebay and can you use the same SSN on 2 paypals?

If you provided them your SSN which was on your banned account you will get linked and banned again, just a matter of time.

I'm afraid I have to agree with Trosky....that link will eventually happen and this account will go down...you need some back up accounts, because it will happen...

It will happen on manual review. I change my name of shipper at time of printing and ask it to update. usually sticks. When it reverts back to original name I know ebay has been looking at my account.

Its almost al ways a guarantee you get manual review during Tax season and once you pass 500k in sales.... There are other random times too... If you have a whinny customer that calls ebay.... You will notice name revert back...
