Cool Advice from experienced eBayer about taking over eBay account

I want to take over my mothers eBay account. She is no longer using it. I have just started selling on ebay, using her account and do not want her social security number and personal info on the account for tax purposes. At the same time if I can continue to use this account then I wont have to deal with the headache of limits and restrictions associated with a new account. Does anyone know how or if I can do this? Thanks in advance

If you mean........can you go in and change all the registration info to your's? No...that will get the account suspended and probably of you both banned from eBay.......You need to start your own accounts.........

Go stealth and you'll be happy you did, I guarantee it!

You can change the account detail the way you want but paypal will remember the old one, forever. Changing account detail is not necessarily causing a limit, but it may.

You will have the headaches of ebay & paypal asking why an account that has been inactive is suddenly operating again.

You will have limits & restricts then. Risk that the account might be thought to be hacked.

Changing registration info on an account is a really bad idea.
