eBay Indefinite Suspension Is A Piece Of Cake!
Just figured out that eBay's indefinite suspension is a piece of cake and those who make stealth accounts frequently like me, or who are just new to making stealth accounts. The eBay Indefinite Suspension, or "EIS" for short is just a scare tactic. Let me explain...
I was making another awesome stealth account as usual, but this time for a client. My client ordered an account with 100 by $5,000 seller limits from me so I was off to work. I made the account smoothly, but to my surprise I was given 500 by $25,000 seller limits instantly. I swear I didn't even know this was possible. I'm not going to get into detail on how I did this, just know I did something a bit different than usual and it works. Now what that said I listed a book (cheap item) and let it stay there so I wont look like a suspicious seller and In return I'll know if the account has been taken down or not. Since this was my first 500/$25,000 the past few days I haven't even bothered to log in and out checking on it. This is much more valuable then my basic accounts which work perfectly for me and I didn't want to risk suspending it with using a different IP, because I do use a VPN after all. Now I just logged in today and there it was, the infamous "EIS" immediately I wasn't even upset the least bit. If you're a self-made stealth eBay I am than you should have seen this message at least multiple times and are aware of eBay doing this out of the blue. I sighed and said to myself "well, at-least I still have my basic account and eBay business isn't at halt". Then I thought of how much I hate it right now, but I should call eBay up and try for the hundredth time to convince the rep that I'm a honest guy who just want to sell on eBay. About midway in the call I seen that I had two eBay penalties on my account. The first one said "Restricted - they want me to call with in the next 48hrs" and the second which was 72 hours apart said "Suspended Indefinitely - I can't use eBay, half or anything else anymore, blah, blah, blah" Now at this point I can see that the account received an "EIS" because I failed to contact them within the 48hr time from of the temporary restriction, which actually was 72hrs. So to make a long story short I just simply told the rep, "I forgot to call eBay in the 48hr time frame, my bad." and with a few questions and a 2 minute hold I was back and reestablished. Polishing off my 500 by $25,000 account.
Now the reason I write this post, and again to all the self-made eBayer's who started from the bottom and had to go through trail and error, is because now that I think back there are at-least tens of accounts I simply just let blow in the wind because the received the "EIS" which made me believe they were linked to old eBay accounts or unable to be fixed. I fixed my first EIS as proof it can be done. So what I've learned is eBay will say you have 48hrs to contact them but you really have 72hrs before they'll take action and the Indefinite suspension isn't so indefinite after all.
