Default 40 accounts down in 4 days.

Has anybody else had This happen? I lost around 20 a couple days ago & around 20 today. Many of these have not been used in months. I really don't know what could have caused this. Some accounts where 3 years old.

Holy Hell 40 accounts! This is not good looks like the ebay's ban hammer is coming around again! I think I have lost only 4 accounts since around 2009.

when i make my user acc on my pc i make all of the ebay ones limited and don't give them adman rights. because i see ebay is trying to install a DLL files. when you make your user acc on your computer don't give them adman rights. make the acc limited. i am using windows xp. this is just my 2 cents. i think the acc are stronger on an older os. i could be wrong but thats just how i feel. that really sux you lost 40 acc so sorry to hear that ebay sux .

I have NEVER had ebay try to install anything like that on my computer and I use Firefox. Are you sure you dont have a virus?

same. The only thing that has ever popped up on an account was a warning that the site needs to use cookies.

Are you talking about Silverlight asking to run? That always pops up for me on eb and I usually dont click anything, just login and it disappears.

Here's the link for flash object privacy (paypal's banner logo and eb's main page)
Adobe - Flash Player : Settings Manager - Global Privacy Settings Panel
The second from left tab is what you want, folder with down arrow. Uncheck Allow third-party Flash content to store data on your computer.
