Default Has PayPal reduced withdrawal rights on limited accounts from 180 days to 45 days?

So I had an account limited back in January 16 but I got the email from PP saying my funds are eligible for withdrawal on July 15 (exactly 180d later from limitation date). I forgot about this account until now and just logged into it. As you can see by the pic below it reads my account has been limited for 45 days and I can withdraw? It doesn't make sense. If that were the case I should've got the email notice from them at the beginning of March not on July 15. I now have the rights to withdraw but I haven't logged into this account until now since it was limited back in January so I can't confirm the 45d withdrawal rights. Can anyone else confirm that it is indeed 45 days? Discuss..

This could all depend on how much you sold, complaints, chargebacks, disputes. etc.,

Sometimes funds are getting released after 45 days.

It's on a case by case basis.

Activity of the account, its conduct etc, is the determing factor.

What is successful for your account may and is different for another's account.

There's a bit of talk elsewhere about this happening.

And yes, I know of users who got the funds B4 the 180 days.

I must stress again. The determination is made case by case.

It says that it has been "limited for more than 45 days" but since your just now logging into it, its been 180 days. That is also why it says you are now able to withdraw. It doesnt mean that you were able to withdraw at 45 days.

Rsot give yourself credit you caught this when no one else did and the OP has not been back to explain.

If it were not for many people would have got all excited for nothing.

Sorry for not updating and explaing further. Yes I know it has been past the 180 days. What I am saying is that could I have logged into my account 45 days later after the limitation date (Jan. 16) and be able to withdraw my funds, instead of waiting the full 180 days. I already withdrew my money from this account but it has been past 180 days. Wondering if I could have done it much sooner (45d).

Not really! I stated in the first line of my post, "So I had an account limited back in January 16...."

I think that 45 day thing is just a system glitch in the e-mail - even in retrospect, I sincerely doubt you would have been able to. PP e-mails have a lot of bothersome faults.

As I see it, PP would give a 45 day limit if ALL the funds received were from other Paypal accounts (no credit cards or extra risky funding was involved).
because after 45 days a Paypal buyer loses it his rights to dispute the payment.

However the most frequent option is the 180 days when there are credit cards involved in ANY of the payments, PP gives itself 180 days to consider the money safe to withdraw.
