Exclamation Can someone tell me what in the world is going on!

Can someone tell me why am I getting so many MC098. Everyday I get a buyer who is winning my item (BUY IT NOW) and then turns out to be a fraudulent buyer. Someone tried to buy 3 products (each at 250$) at once and then shortly I received message saying that he is not a registered user anymore.

Listing category attracts whackos/scammers

Buyer requirements not preset

Eg, BIN with immediate paypal , no international, buyers with less than X number of feedback to contact Be bidding

Competitor trying to harm you might do this.

Not nice at all

GreenBean I have another problem! My selling limit is 5000$. Now because of this fraudulent winners who never actually paid for the item and are not registered user anymore it still shows as if I sold over 3000$ already when in reality I only sold 3 items so far. Is there anything that I can do to remove this transactions. How can eBay count them as item sold if the user did not pay , user is fraudulent and is not registered anymore.

Listed a TV the other day for local pickup ( used font size 24 ), some idiot from another state buys it. Can not re-list the TV for another 30 days.

Nothing you can do I believe.

I think my situation if different though. I list an item, fraudulent buyer winning the item then gets immediately suspended by eBay. Why should eBay count this as a sale if it was fraudulent one and item was not actually sold.

  • Buyer did not pay for the item so there was no sale
  • Was fraudulent buyer in the first place

Try to contact them, see if the can remove from your monthly limit.

Try changing your user id, if it's the competition that buys them, might bring them off track for a while at least.

How do I contact eBay? I don't want to call them because they might try to verify my stealth account. Is there any email or another way I can contact them online ?
