Default If eBay cancels a 'risky' item post, is there any long-term negative?

I posted a piece of software on a new account (it was legit software), and eBay canceled it saying "Your listings have been ended". There was no MC code or anything like that on the email. It said that they don't allow replicas, counterfeit items, or unauthorized copies to be listed but it was none of those things.

So my question is whether this is an issue? Is it something I can't relist later on after the account gets some trust built up? Will they ding me with an MC violation if I relist it, or will they just take it down again with no harm/no foul?

Thanks.

you can not relist on that account. Once ebay removes a listing you risk loosing that account if you relist it.

The account is at risk.

Do not sell the same item on the account again at anytime.

Ok, thanks for the info. Another question, then - if I listed a Microsoft Office license/keycard only that got taken down, could I relist a full retail box version now? Or a legal box of Visio? Is it related items, or the 100% identical that would get me nailed?

If you decide to sell stuff like that on Ebay, you are always going to have problems.

I get that it's a bad category, if they pull something down whatever. I just want to make sure my account isn't going to get banned over posting Office, it's taken down, then I post Visio. Or if I post an OEM Office card, then post a retail box. If they pull down the second posts, I don't care much as long as the account doesn't get messed.

Office....Visio...legit or not, you are asking for problems....retail box or not.

Your account has heavy chance of getting badly hit.

If you aren't licensed to sell Microsoft Software, you are playing with fire.

Microsoft and Adobe are probably the the two RISKIEST brands of software to sell. Also, eBay does not allow the sale of "keys" or "codes" for software.
