Have an account from family member. Should I use it?

I have an account from a family member which was craeted long ago. He no longer uses it and gave it to me. If my main account gets banned would it get linked with the family account.

We both would of had to use the same ip like YEARS ago when we lived together and we both now live in our own homes for quite some time now (like over a 5 years now).

Is it safe to go ahead with sell without being linked?

Its anybody's guess considering the circumstances.
What is not a guess is the fact its a bad idea to involve business and family. Just open your own accounts and run those instead of getting family members involved in something that could go bad.

personally highly doubt its linked just by ip from 5 years ago, 99% of accounts are linked to others if thats the case. I'd use it, don't see the issue if you're doing everything above board

Actually I think it doesnt matter use your friend's informaton or not.
But make sure won't leave your friend's contact number.

Otherwise you will receive calls from EBAY and her agency again and again once your EBAY is limited and you have to pay the final value fee

You guys are not seeing the bigger picture. If the OP starts selling and goes above the 200/$20,000 then there are taxes to be paid, as well his friends income level goes up...thus forcing his friend to pay higher personal taxes.
