Stealth Account Locked

Hello

My Stealth USA Ebay account is locked. So i called up ebay and they are saying they cannot verify my identity so they want me to add a phone number and wait for a month and call them back from the phone number. Is it possible to do this and get the aco**** back.

I have never heard of them doing that before. But maybe they are telling you the truth. Wait a month and call them back and see what happens.

If this is something you heard from a costumer service representative I wouldnt be holding my breath. The people working there have no clue as to the actual policies.
Im betting that if you try calling again and youll get another answer.

When in doubt, try with different agent.

You can also add a phone number and request a call back, so they know phone number is yours.

I am from outside USA. Any chance this can be solved if i buy USA phones and shipped to my country

As some member suggested to call again I did call again and now they want me to upload an ID like passport or diver's licence and utility bills or credit card statements. I am preparing one and will update how it goes by next week.

cant you just sign up for a voip phone account, and download a voip app and link your account that way to receive calls? - i am from the UK and may be a bit different procedures to you guys.. but hope this helps...

Never heard of this. The rep was most likely trying to get you off the phone (happens quite often).

Call until you get a friendly rep. Always be nice to reps, even when they are rude and unhelpful.

I uploaded the documents ebay wanted and got an email saying we cannot verify the account but need to call them up. So i did that and in the conversation told them to check the documents i had uploaded and got the account reinstated
