eBay Unauthorised Access

I had recently started using an old eBay account of mine which had a limit of 100 items £3,000. I sold 100 items in 72 hours and then waited for my next review where it was increased to 200 items £6,000 - Everything was going well and I had gained 50+ feedback in a short space of time along with being on track for Top Rated Seller. Now my account had some good traction I started to list some of my more expensive items whilst keeping within my listing limits. This is where it went all wrong...

I then received a suspension notice "eBay Unauthorised Access - CONTACT US Immediately". The message from eBay stated that they believe someone had accessed my account and started selling on it, therefore they took the following action:

- Suspended my account
- Removed all my listings
- Removed my 50+ feedback
- Emailed every buyer who had just paid for an order and said "we believe this eBay account has been hijacked".

This obviously caused absolute chaos and I called eBay immediately. After a very short conversation they realised my account hadn't been hijacked and restored my account access along with moving my listings to unsold so I could relist them. They however have not sorted out two major issues:

- I've lost 50+ feedback and I've been told by Trust & Safety "Sir, we can't see that you had that feedback"
- I now have numerous cases being counted against me for "Item not Received" in my Seller Dashboard as people were worried they had lost their money.

Does anyone have any suggestions of which department I need to get hold of to resolve this mess?

WOW seems you moved way way way too fast buddy. Think whats done is done at this point. Attempt to salvage this acct while moving on to others...

You started too fast. That is the issue. If they see that the acc hasn't been used for a long time, and then suddenly started to sell fast, they think it has been stolen, as a sudden spike in sales is very suspicious.

If you have used an account to sell on in the past for a few months, chances are ebay/paypal will get used to that area's IPs. If you plan to hibernate accounts, remember to get an IP around the area you left off...
