This was a good thread for me anyway. I have been using a few mifi hotspots I get different ip addresses and keep log of them to not overlap on different accounts.
However, a few paypal accounts have been giving me security issues upon logging in or trying to withdraw/send/spend money from the account. It will ask to confirm my phone with either a text or phone call but there is no number to click on for them to call so I click add number and it tells me its not my number. What is even weirder is that I of course have phone numbers (active ones) attached to them so when they ask to text me or call me it should have the number on file but nope not there.

Its been odd, I emailed paypal a few times from different accounts and they told me its a new security feature and to try to log in from the same computer and same ip address and to refresh my cookies. I got the basic same response about 4xs.

So now I am definitely thinking about switching to VPN with same ip address every time for each account instead of the mifis. Just gets expensive that way if you have 50 stealth and its $3 per Static IP it would be way more expensive then my $40 bucks a month mifi.
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

A new VPN will not solve the "We dont recognize this device" BS that PP says is a new security procedure. I do have a solution that will work for everyone
and is free. I have been meaning to write a thread about how to solve this issue but just have not had the time. I should be posting it in the next day or two.

It's not strictly down to IP. I generate a brand new IP each time I login to stealth accounts, I never ever use the same IP.

What I found it boils down to, is if your deleting cookies etc., which cause paypal to think your logging in from a new device.

Verification is very simple to do, they send a code, you tap it in, done. In your case seems to be playing up.

I agree. That doesnt sound like IP. It sounds more like browser and cookies.

Not true, scaremongering.

His linking is probably due to other variables, I have used Dynamic VPN for years, probably the very same IPs used by many dirty stealthers.

I second that. Dynamic IP + an absolute solid/flawless account setup, means it will work just as fine as a static/Fresh IP.

Keep in mind, people using dongles, hotspots, public wifi, private home/work wifi etc. - these are more often than not dynamic IPs.

The topic of IP is complex. Ideal to be unique/fresh, but not a prerequisite.
