Anyone tried sending an infringement retraction email by using the VERO member name?
Hi people,
I'm just wondering if anyone has ever tried sending an email to vero@ebay.com after receiving a violation alert (copyright or trademark) from eBay, by using the email address of the VERO member as shown in the alert?
So just like it's a message sent by the right owner, telling eBay that he's agreed to retract his previous complaint and asking eBay to re-instate the listing, remove the violation record from the eBay profile?
The reason I'm thinking this is I tried contacting the VERO member after receiving a listing removal notice from eBay, but no response. I'm sure my item was authentic as it was bought from a retail chain store. So it's not fair to have my eBay profile hurt by a false claim. If the VERO member just ignored my appeals, I'm thinking if I should send a message to eBay by making it like a conflict resolution message sent by the VERO member.
Do you think it'll work? Or will it hurt my A/C if eBay found out it's actually not sent by the VERO member? Can I pretend I don't know who sent the message, and use some excuses like some hackers may have hacked for the detail somewhere thru internet if I was asked by eBay?
