eBay Suspended & PayPal Limited Forums - Google Authenticator Backup

I find that restoring the backup of the app does bring back all the accounts you added to it, but the codes that show up don't work.

Perhaps someone can shed light on a better way of backing up the app.

Or maybe another app might work better. I have seen that it is possible to add another app fo amazon e.g. Do you guys have any experience with other authentication apps?

There are other authentication apps, i.e. Microsoft. Not tried them myself so can't comment.

I'd steer well clear from any apps that lack reputation.

I'm afraid to lose my phone or that the phone explodes, then the codes from the google auth app will be gone. Is there a way to store this **** in the cloud or a way to get to the codes even if my phone explodes.
