Lightbulb Photobucket and HTLM editor

Given the Auctiva situation, I've been looking for a temporary solution and found a raw but effective fix.
Until the industry can sort itself out, I like the fact that it's a FREE solution.

This is only meant for sellers with a few listings.
The number will depend on your ability to get faster at what I am about to mention.

1- Get any free HTLM editor (I use Kompozer)
2- Write your ad (offline, this is key to having all your ads ready),
3- Open a photobucket account & insert photos.
- also offline and the links are easy via photobucket.
- you can also use their "effects" for a pseudo-video instead of pics.
- I will try to up a sample later for those who wish to see one.

4- IDEA I haven't tried yet: Get Roboform or some other formfiller app for your ebay form.
I am NOT sure if they are compatible for ebay's listing forms.
At this point, I simply copy and paste the fields wherever I can.

Your listings are done directly through eBay so there is no scheduling.

I choose the 10c designer option.
I am hoping that this also makes Fbay happy that I'm spending the extra 10c per listing.
Some members have mentioned that Fbay likes it when you use their listing upgrades.

That's it.

I am now able to launch about 20 listings (once the ads are finished) per night. Actual times will vary depending on internet speed, typing speed, etc... but I have done it in less than 10 mins sometimes. This is usually when I list the same items for 3, 5 or 7 days duration at the same time.

Listings look great,
Faby likes the fact you're using upgrades,
You get to practice a little HTML.
(if you choose not to, you can still do this), it's relatively easy.

Repeat: meant for sellers with few items or sellers quick with their typing/pc skills.

Hope it helps at least one of you out there.

Termed

PS: If anyone has a question feel free to ask, I only had 3 cups of java and my mind isn't yet focused.

yes Ive been using photobucket and other online picture uploaders, due to multiple accounts and not wanting to link pics to my pc by uploading direct, this is the main reason I use them to break the link and have the file properties say imageshack or whatever. However if you have a user account for each and every ebay account, there is probably no need to bother...

TermedPS, When you mention photobucket, Do you just keep your pics organized on their or do you actually host the pics for the ebay listings from there?

I actually host the pics there and use a separate acct for each ebay acct.

Okay, this might be a really basic question, buy how do I upload multiple images from photobucket (or similar site) to an ebay listing. I used to use Auctiva and tried to list something last night that I wanted to use multiple images on from Photobucket and it seemed like it would only let me do one image. The whole reason that I wanted to do it this way was to get away from having to pay for each additional image.
The items are mostly under $10 so by the time I pay all of the associated fees, I hate to give ebay another $0.75 just for extra pics.
Any help appreciated

I've been on Auctiva almost from the start for my main account...didn't they just start charging a fee or limiting to a total of 2mb?
