Default How good is auctiva?

Hi,

i'm thinking of using Auctiva for my third party apps.
but i'm not sure to use it right

please advise for my question

1. Can one auctiva account handle many of my ebay accounts?
2. Can auctiva use like turbo lister, doing many listing in one click?
so i can throw my turbo lister forever
3. is it really ebay login free, if i use auctiva for my sales?
4. Can it be use like aweber, to keep contact with our customer after the sales?

thanks
really appreciate anyone who give advise

see answers below.

1. Can one auctiva account handle many of my ebay accounts?
-yes
2. Can auctiva use like turbo lister, doing many listing in one click?
so i can throw my turbo lister forever
-yes, but slightly different approach. relisting is a one-click process
3. is it really ebay login free, if i use auctiva for my sales?
-you have to login to ebay when you first set it up the Auctiva token
4. Can it be use like aweber, to keep contact with our customer after the sales?
-they have a new feature for this, but I haven't tried it out yet. it's more designed for their Auctiva Commerce customers.

You can really have few Ebays accounts in 1 Auctiva? Don't ou have to generate token for each Ebay account? How will Auctiva know from which account you are listing ?

so, i guess we all need a confirmation about this..

ok, let's say i have 3 different account with different data,
i register the token with different IP address,
then the question is...

can i, after the 'token process' with different IP,
take one IP address and use it to login in every Auctiva account, logout and login again in different auctiva account..

is it permit?
or can our data being link each other?

can someone confirm this

Yes , you can do that safely, but I don't think you can have like 3 Ebays to one Auctiva since each needs to generate token...Someone correct me if I am wrong. Thanks.

from what i've learn from other thread,

yes..you can switch between one to another auctiva account, means you can logout and login with same IP address

Yes, one ebay account mean one auctiva account, but you don't have to be worried about the price...
you can contact their support and tell them all your auctiva account, and they will only charge you one time..9.95

ISN'T THAT WONDERFUL :D

beside, after everyone moved to IF, I guess we are their priority and we'll be like king in the jungle, they will serve us better....

and one 'hole' on the IF that's really bother me that they include your username on the picture hosting, means that ebay still can track you
due to your several account have only one username

or else you have to go to another image hosting..

CMIIW

i'm using auctiva now, and look satisfy :D

Hi,

I found their reply below on their forum. Hope this helps.

"Welcome to Auctiva! While we may support eh ability to use multiple eBay accounts from one Auctiva account with a future site update, you must currently have a separate Auctiva account for each eBay account. However, we will allow you to use all of your accounts while only paying the price of one account provided that you are using one of our plans that include unlimited listings. The least expensive unlimited listing plan is the Standard plan, which is $9.95 per month.

There is also a Premium plan available for $19.95 per month that includes an Auctiva Commerce (off eBay) store, a free custom domain, and some advanced support options.

If you would like to take us up on this offer, once you have created all 4 of your Auctiva accounts, please select the desired plan through one account and then contact our customer support team to have your other accounts combined under that one. Just let them know all of your Auctiva usernames and specify which one you have selected a plan for you, and they'll get them all set up.

You can reach our customer support team at any time by completing the form on the following page of our site: http://www.auctiva.com/help/requesthelp.aspx"

everything look nice on auctiva, but lately i see an error in my auctiva
it came twice this week

when i look into my 'paid sales' listing, i found two item, with the same buyer, paid twice,
i didn't realize it first, i think the buyer rethink and buy same item twice
i process the order like usual, sending them 2 item with exact similar

then the second error happening again today...two item with the same buyer
i check my paypal then found that it's auctiva error, i receive only one payment for that item

it's my fault didn't check the paypal first...next time i be more carefull

@bigmac

yes, it's safe with 3rd party app, such auctiva or inkfrog
but you have to follow the rule when taking the token for the first time

@wheat

happy for enjoying this

Hi Chow, Auctiva is excellent but you can also use Inkfrog aswell.

They pretty much do the same thing. IE listings for ebay.

Inkfrog has the advantage that you can amend Live listings without going into ebay, Auctiva currently does not have this feature

They are both the same price $9.95 per month £6.66 (UK)

Well worth a look.

There are plenty more 3 party listings and auction management tools out there, auction splash is free and there are plently of others.

I have looked at at tried them all but really the only two that are any good in my honest opinion are Auctiva and Inkfrog, with not really a lot to separate them, apart from the amending live listings feature.

@ Neo

it's so true, i tried inkfrog for couple of week, and really enjoy it either
it have more flexibility in editing live listing, like quantity, sadly auctiva still haven't that
and what i really like the most...

i don't have to logout for any of my account, just one click to switch it

what i didn't like from inkfrog, their photo gallery have a link to our username, even with different ebay id,
already fix it with 3rd party pic uploader, but i can't attach many picture in one listing like auctiva did, for free..

both 3rd party listing are awesome...

i think we have to try it ourself and found one that perfectly match with our need
both have their own advantages

Yes and I never use either inkfrog or auctiva for multiple ebay ids.

If i lose an ebay account i set up a brand new inkfrog or auctiva. It only takes an hour to set up a good template and be ready to go again.

in eBay Stealth it says that Auctiva does not share info with ebay, they must share something tho right? Is it safe for me to make an Auctiva account and link 4-5 ebay accounts with all completely different identitys to it?

You pay for one auctiva account then when you open new ebay accounts ( do it the Stealth Book way) you tell auctiva that they are free sub accounts. When you use auctiva nothing is shared with ebay cause you are going through auctiva's IP address not yours. Remember at token time be stealth.
