is eBay Blackthorne safe to use??

Is ebay blackthorne safe like other 3rd party software? It runs installs and runs locally on the computer, and it's capable of using multiple accounts.

I'm thinking if this works the same way from using tools such as Auctiva to prevent ebay tracking?
