Auctiva--****changing User Id-- ****
 

HI, Folks:
I have seen this question asked before in this forum, (Can we just Change our Auctiva ID/User Name when we get the axe from ebay?)
AND,
I have wondered myself..
--I just looked it up directly on Auctiva, Heres what one of their Mods
Replied with back in September:

Yes, you can change it, here's a quote from Auctiva's help menu:

You must file a support request to change your Auctiva username. In the support request, please include what you would like your new username to be.

**SO_ if this is TRUE-- (then I guess we would have to delete the token, go to a diff ip, create a new TOKEN??)-

You got everything loaded + bam... its gone,, all that work for nothing??
(If it works, then... I use an acct for the recycled pics,etc. to further test this??)
**NOTE: I WOULD NOT try this yourself--unless you are on a Public Library pc, and the acct is a "throw away"...

Auctiva IDs once linked to ebay accounts are hard to unlink and I've found they just get stuck on the same ebay account no matter what and it gets errors.

I'd really like to know if this is possible. It would make the transformation between the accounts so straight forward. Basically only having to change one username and nothing else.

I have nothing to lose so am planning on starting up numerous accounts and keeping the same auctiva account to run them. Once the items are listed once, they can be relisted from within ebay so the token doesn't have to change too often.
