Default Auctiva vs. TurboLister

I use turbolister because I feel it's much faster and easier, perhaps I'm wrong. The only problem with TurboLister is the scheduling. I schedule about 20 items a day so I know I'm getting the shaft in that department because it's 10 cents per schedule.

I'd switch over to Auctiva, but I heard Auctiva uses your computer to schedule the listings. Meaning, if your computer is off, you are screwed. I list at practically every hour, so I don't know if I can depend on my own computer as being up all the time (especially through potential power outtages, network problems, or I'm just d/ling a lot of torrents and milking the bandwith)

Any thoughts?

i am not sure, but i do not think that is correct about auctiva using your computer to post. i am not logged into the auctiva site when my listings are sent.

i too used to use turbo lister exclusively, but since using auctiva i would never go back. the picture hosting is worth it. you don't have to pay ebay for posting extra pics.

If you schedule auctiva listings they will post whether your computer is on or off, and logged in or logged off. Their software takes over after you schedule the listing. You can also specify how long to keep trying if it encounters a problem. (I've never encountered a problem!)

yeah, because all of the info you are using is being uploaded to their website. your computer is not a factor once you create your listing.

Hi, I am using turbo lister also. I have to pay 10 cent for schedule.

Do I have to pay the 10 cent also with auctiva?

Hmm interesting. Do you mean extra gallery pics? Because you can put as many as you want as long as you host it elsewhere if it's in the body of the listing, so I'm assumming extra gallery pics.

yes, the pics are in the body of the description, so you don't have to pay ebay the $.15 for each additional pic.
