| doughboykilla | 03-15-2008 02:26 PM | i belive tubro lister is also a way for ebay to spy on you and know if ur useing muiltple accounts! |
| ebayhateluv | 03-15-2008 05:47 PM | Hi, Import:
I personally do not even try 100 listings on my 10 yr old acct anymore--too much nonsense with this abusing stuff...
--I also use multiple accts, but keep them at 10-20 listings, on high end items, and no more than 50-60 on $30 -$50 items,
-- A good rule of thumb I use is listings 1/2 (one half--ratio to my fb)--
>> IN other words, if my fb is only 10-- i list 5 items,
when my fb is at 50--im safe for 25 items... others can list more, but i like to play it safe..
+ I use Auctiva..no more ebay turbo listor--now i do have stores, so relisting 25 items per page is a matter of seconds... Good Luck :) |
| extension | 03-28-2008 06:27 PM | Turbo Lister : Error: -Internal error to the application. I'm using Turbo Lister to list my items. There are special precautions to go through before re-listing with new account. If you know what to do you'll be fine.
Basically, when I list it gives me this error on some items.
Error: -Internal error to the application.
But, if I wait a few minutes, and list again, I can now list. What is this? Account is brand new if that's any help. |
| aspkin | 03-29-2008 07:31 AM | It's an error on eBay's end, not yours. Only thing you can do is wait like you're doing and try again later.
Have you tried Auctivia yet? |
| Jonas | 03-29-2008 07:49 AM | I wouldn't use Turbo lister. They can hide stuff on your computer you can never find and always link you. |
| aspkin | 03-29-2008 08:03 AM | Lol Jones, isn't that part of the Registration Entries stuff?
Every time I start my computer, since my windows is copied, XP pops up with this message that my copy of windows isn't genuine. So I have a Registration Entries file that I load up to stop Microsoft pop ups from showing up every 15 minutes of so. I should just buy a legit version of XP, but I rather wait until I buy a new computer.
Anyway, those days were fun. Lots of cracks to get what you want. I don't do that stuff anymore, but fun times. |
| FrancisK | 04-23-2008 01:14 AM | Tell me why I shouldn't use Turbo Lister..... Aside from not having the scrolling gallery I find turbo lister much easier to use and much more convienant. Are there any reasons I should not be using turbo lister, as in ebay tracing me to my old accounts?
Thanks,
Frank |
| aspkin | 04-23-2008 01:16 AM | It retains your old information and send it to eBay when you log in. It's just not a good idea. |

Thanks for the reply Aspkin, would this be true even if the old TL is uninstalled and I am using a new IP? |
| aspkin | 04-24-2008 12:16 AM | It's tricky. If you feel like risking it and know what you're doing go for it. I played around with it for months, I don't think it's wise to use TL even if you are able to cover your tracks. |
| ebayhateluv | 04-24-2008 12:17 AM | HI: Yes, agreed, Auctiva is Very good- then get yourself an Ebay Store--you will have all the Fast Relists there, plus more exposure.. |
| 2001kx | 06-24-2008 12:59 AM | use old turbo lister files with new account? is there a way to use your old turbo lister files (items selling) in a new copy of turbo lister (was suspended).
i usually just re-write them all out of fear of getting linked somehow but would be nice if i didnt have too?
so i dont have to re write them all? |
| aspkin | 06-24-2008 02:46 AM | If you have the excel sheets, I don't see why not. I'm not sure if your eBay user id is in the excel file, you might want to check that.
Auctiva isn't working for you? |
| 2001kx | 06-24-2008 11:31 AM | i never used Auctiva but im gonna check it out with my new account. |
| fennerfenner | 06-29-2008 11:21 AM | Using Turbo lister for a new account Just found this forum yesterday and it's really opend my eyes!
I've been on ebay for about 5 years now and must have gone through about 40+ accounts, just using different card combinations for each one. Now I have read how they link accounts, I think it's time I got a bit more cleaver when I set my next one up!
I've uninstalled turbo lister, changed my IP etc etc.. Is it ok to reinstall turbo lister once I open a new account? Couldn't seem to find an answer to this. |

| chocobulle | 07-06-2008 10:24 AM | for US / CA / Australia eBay users only though :\ |
| generalgeorgie | 07-16-2008 02:15 PM | I would like to know the answer to this also as I sell 650+ different items over and over again. If no Turbolister, what is the alternative ? |
| generalgeorgie | 07-16-2008 02:17 PM | Sorry, I'm new. I see the answer now.
Hey ASPKIN..... GREAT BOOK. Thanks |
| importracer150 | 07-16-2008 02:49 PM | I tried turbo lister on a week old account with O feedback. Listed 800 Non vero items. It was a test account. NO promblems yet. |
| 2001kx | 08-07-2008 12:15 PM | turbo lister question i have a new account and deleted my old turbo lister .
i have used it a few times now but the last time i used it turbo lister asked me to choose a user.
it had my old suspended account listed?
i dont know how but it was there.
i didnt log on to it but can they link me this way?
i think so but im not sure? |
| aspkin | 08-07-2008 01:23 PM | Yep, thus the reason why I recommend Not using TurboLister and removing it from your system. Read eBay Stealth for all the ways eBay links your account, it'll save you time and money. Good luck! | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 12:52 AM. | |
