Replying to emails (gmail) through outlook - cookies/linking?
 

I am using gmail accounts for ebay and I know that's good as they don't download the pictures.

I've been doing it for about 4 months through outlook and I just realised that when I click reply and it sends to member@uk email or their private email, that all the pictures appear so I assume in this case they've been downloaded from ebay.

I'm sure I read about this before as far as cookies being sent to ebay etc but I can't find the thread. Would any of the pros be able to tell me if this would link the accounts? I think I'm in trouble if so.

I have been using the gmail route for almost a year.
I use it for every ebay account I have.
I funnel the ebay email into my mail software.
If I want to answer a question from there I make sure I am sending to a real email address.
Not to "Use Yellow Button"
I do see pictures in the emails from ebay but I have NEVER been linked to any other account.
So I have not had any accounts linked to other accounts due to the fact that I use the gmail route.

Yup that answers it. You see the pictures, but haven't been linked.

I knew the pictures didn't load when the mail came in but when I replied (clicking reply in outlook) they are loaded and displayed (the reply to button, a small pic of the item etc). For some reason I never noticed in the past and I hadn't been making sure my IP was different for each account so I was afraid this would have linked them.
