ebay giving you limits based on being able to detect your browser?

I've been creating accounts within a short amount of time, like 4 in the last 2 days. The selling limits were 5/500, 1000/25000, 5/500, 5/500

The last 5/500 I coulda sworn it said 0/0 at first and when I refreshed it was back to 5/500.

Question is, do you guys get smaller limits based on short amounts of time creating it? Let's just say I use the same method to create 1000/25000 but I was expecting to get another 1000/25000, I didn't get it. Wondering if it has to do with creating accounts within a short amount of time, thus they're able to read your browser. You all know me, I know how to not get linked, and I'm using Firefox portable.

I use the installer to create a new firefox portable folder every time as well.

Maybe 3-5 within 3 hrs. And the only reason why, activating phone numbers, waiting for pages to load etc. I just discovered something else. Just created an acct, out of nowhere 1000/25000, completely stealth name, everything, no one with that type of name within 500 km, I was like whoa, how did that work?

Listed my usual staple item, which is a bit risky, and I got the restricted, need to give them a call and verify myself etc. since this name is completely stealth I had no problem calling them, gave them the usual, household items etc, and then they gave my acct back. 1000/25000, I wonder how I could replicate this lol.

Shouldn't have anything to do with it.
I create mine in 10 account batches - never had an issue.

i agree slokor I'm too lazy to make that many at a time but making multiple i have never gotten such big swings in limits

and sorry for getting off topic you asked if the browser or addons had any reason for limit diff. when making accts. I have never noticed a diff. between using firefox, explorer, chrome etc on my initial limits. all that said if you start an account and do it right be a mute point.

Biggest thing here is even with such big limits it'll be hard to use with a paypal that new and running big money through it
