Access to Online Banking + Ebay/Paypal
Hello, I have access to a bank account with a decent amount of funds in it. Upwards of 40K. I currently have it linked to a Paypal that was originally created a few towns over from where I live, and then accessed on the home PC with a VPN. They did ask for further verification, but a pair of calls explaining I'd moved recently and I was using a friends public computer, with a mixture of laptop and tablet accesses at the Public Library and such, they granted access again and verified. I have a Ebay account with the same e-mail as the Paypal.
Basically, I'm going to make a purchase through E-Bay, the Bank most likely won't restrict me, as the funds are present in the account, Paypal said they shouldn't, as I asked when they reverified/unlocked/unlimited my account. So the last bottleneck is Ebay. With all of this in consideration, I'm sure my personal IP has touched one of them once, somehow. But so has about 10 others. What other risk do I run here? Will Ebay stop one Large purchase? am I better to split it up into smaller ones? piecing the items out? Will that prompt the bank to put a hold on multiple small transactions? They assured me that if the money was in the account, they wouldn't stop one large transaction. I'm just making sure to cross as many T's and Dot as many I's as I can. I know this is a bit all over the place, any input/tips would be appreciated.
