Default anyone help with this one?????

hi,

i am new to the forums and would firstly like to say what a great site, Anyway i have a question which i cant seem to find the answer to after searching for hours so if someone could please help it would be much appreciated...

exactly 13 months ago i was baned from ebay for indefinate and after 2 months i had set another account up using family member details and using 3 netwok dongle but it is getting a bit slow now, I was with AOL when i got banned and have not been with them for about 7 month now, If i got broadband again with bt, sky etc would my ip address be the same as when i was with AOL??

I also have a new computer now from when i was banned

You will have a completely different IP address if you change ISP's if that is what you are doing.

no very unlikely to have same ips, just switch on and off and check you have changing ips and you are all set....

IP address blocks are assigned to ISP. So, if you had AOL before but will be having any other ISP besides AOL, you could not POSSIBLY get the same IP. Your old IP belongs to AOL and only another AOL user could ever have it.

Changing ISP is a 100% guaranty you will have a new IP. 100%!

Because all ISP have diferent ip pools reserved.
